C’mon man! Music is rhythm first and melody second, and rap is rhythm with a little rhyme, and even a little melody, if you follow it along. Say it’s primitive, which it is in the sense of primal, or even just primitive, what the heck, but a cancer? Reserve that claim for Stockhausen.
