Ray’s no longer exists. As in “The original Ray’s Pizza.” You can find dozens of terrible pizza parlors calling themselves “Rays.” For a while there was a good pizza parlor called “Pronto’s.” Don’t know what happened to that one. Best pizzas are generally found in restaurants. The most well-known are John’s in Greenwich Village and the two Patsy’s. Never had either of them, though. I generally stick to the terrible place across the street from me (do you hear me, Mike’s Pizza??!)
Be careful what you wish for. Mike may just 'spin a pie' for you .....right after having scratched his privates or something.
