Yeesh, leave a thread for a few hours and come back to such a mess!

Anyway, two things:

1) Maybe I’m just a rookie at posting, but when you go to the post link, it says “News/Activism,” not simply “News.” So, as DHY2K points out, my aim is primarily email activism, so how do I post for an activism request that is not in any sense news? I dunno. Did I miss a later choice between news and activism in the interface?

2) FB can be a source of news. Not often. But it can happen. Palin getting over the 3,000,000 likes mark. And if someone has an activism idea and the first place it shows up is in Facebook, and the result of the activism becomes socially/politically significant, why would it not be proper journalism to point back to the source, in this case Facebook?

3) When Facebook was just getting started, I didn’t take it seriously either. But it is becoming the new public walkway, with all manner of activity and buzz that can morph into real events, real news. Palin gets it and she’s actively using it. It’s a synthesis of technology and social behavior that will continue to change the way things happen. I see no reason to put it in some special category where whatever happens there is of no account. To paraphrase the Pharisees, does anything good ever come out of Facebook? I say yes.

Nevertheless, my humblest apologies to the offended overlords of FR posting etiquette. I will try to do better next time, if I can figure out the interface. Seriously. No sarc tag even. C’mon, I’m series.

Your posting history is not that of a conservative

I'm still waiting for you to cry to the authorities about this, your supposition and accusation.

I urge you to STAND UP and make your voice heard, right this wrong and put an end to this travesty.

If not you, then who? If not now, when?

BE the voice of justice. Shout it out for all the world to hear!

It should be “Governor Palin” at all times

I'll look forward to seeing you jump all over those folks here who call her "Sarah".

You know, kind of like how the thugs call Obama "Barack".

A bit too familiar, isn't it?

It’s been an hour since you cried to the authorities.
Perhaps you should cry again, just to be sure.

Do you have 9-1-1 on speed dial?

Crying to the authorities has a long and storied history,
all the top pansies in history have done it. Cry again!

Cry proudly!

Nope, 'Sarah' is just fine with her friends and supporters---she insisted that we call her that during the 2008 campaign. Just Sarah.

But it's 'Governor Palin' to the media and her enemies.

Then you shouldn’t have a problem with Fox designating their employees however they wish.

It’s been a while now since you cried to teacher about your butt-hurt.

Has the pain been eased by time, or by assistance from the authorities?

Remember, it was the authorities to whom you appealed, in your weakness.

Are you OK?
