the one question that mystifies me...
WHY did Jesus abandon the church he created and loved, for 1400 years?
...in Esphesians i think, it speaks that a husband should love his wife, as Jesus loves his church.
Jesus says he will never leave or abandon it. that he will continue to guide it.
...Protestants generally DO know their Bible VERY well. so they know this, and know the Bible says in many places there is only ONE Church. (in Corinthinans, it speaks specifically it should never be divided to the “Church of Timothy, or Titus...”.
Yet Protestants apparently believe that Jesus lied, and withdrew his love and guidance, from his ONE church,
for over 1400 years!
...until Luther came to correct all the errors.
...I believe Jesus kept his promise, and never abandoned us.
...and, if you read Luther’s writings, in the original German, you know EXACTLY what kind of a Saint he was. Even in translation, his quotes are beyond shocking:

I kind of think it had much to do with the sale of indulgences and other things.
Maybe it’s a case of “I didn’t leave the Democratic party ... the Democratic Party left me...”
And I’m sure that will make you mad and you’ll think I’m trying to foment discord.... but ....
