There is new evidence that Congressman Anthony Weiner may have sent the now-infamous 'crotch' photograph to a young coed via his Twitter account.
The New York Democrat says his account was hacked, but The Daily has discovered that the crude post appears to have been made with the same software program as other messages Mr Weiner made the night of May 27.
The Daily revealed that 'the shot seen round the world' was sent via TweetDeck, a popular Adobe desktop application that links up with social networking sites, including Twitter.
The Queens and Brooklyn congressman is known to use TweetDeck, in addition to post with his BlackBerry and via the web.
Mr Weiner's Twitter stream has been archived by TweetCongress.org, a nonprofit website that captures each member of Congress’s Twitter feeds in real time.
The stream from Mr Weiner’s Twitter account on May 27 shows posts only from TweetDeck.
Security sources told The Daily this makes it seem less likely that his account was hacked. If it had been, they suggest the notorious Tweet may have appeared to have come from a different program.
However, they caution that the evidence is not definitive, as it's also possible that someone could have used TweetDeck from another login, copying Mr Weiner's online moves that night.

I think he shows horrible judgement and is not fit to be a congressman, but he is perfectly fit to be a democrat.

I said day one that his wife sent it. Hence his claim of hack although its not quite the most accurate word as well as his reluctance to bring in authorities. Of course she used his computer and thats why its the same software.

I bow to no one in my utter contempt for the likes of Weiner, but if every congressman who was a liar was escorted off the premises, there would not be very many left in the joint. Bill Clinton lied UNDER OATH and was able to keep his job. Boehner should put Weiner on the stand (note to comedians with bad pronunciation: Now is the time for a gratuitous Boehner, Weiner, Stand joke) and force him to either tell the truth or lie under oath. Unlike Clinton, Weiner would not survive.

If the Weener-meister reported the supposed “hack to his account” to Federal authorities like he said he may do, and it turns out he did the Tweet himself, he would Scooterize himself. Get the popcorn!!! He would also become a self-Bobbitter - you know, hacked his own weiner.
