I should have read closer, any business based in the Peoples Republic of Memphrica, except for FedX, is heading down the sewer hole.
Oftentimes, a post-petition vendor can generate good business with these dogs for a period of time but they must watch the fiscal performance of their customer closely or they'll be left holding the bag.
My family used to LOVE the Marie Callender's by Paradise Valley Mall.
Especially the Sunday Brunch. "Hobbit Food" we called it.
NO cheers, unfortunately.
FUBO.
The fact is that here's a couple more American medium corporations down the tubes and thousands more of our compatriots are out of work.
The small non-chain entrepeneur restaurants are shuttering one after another, also. Just check the streets in your local downtown. These are your neighbors closing their doors forever.
Obama is a madman at the head of an ideological criminal enterprise. The GOP leaders in D.C. are in a state of stupor. What a disaster is befalling us.
Even with their buying power better than ours, the chains are starting to fall now. How are WE individuals going to afford the food and energy prices already soaring if these big chains can't?

“Loved their banana cream pies.”
I second that!
"Foreclosure sale for Orland Park Crossing, an upscale shopping mall, will be held Monday morning in Chicago."
Look for many more malls to crash like rolling thunder across the fruited plain as The Grim Reaper In-Chief continues to wield his deadly scythe on our nation's economy.
Most days you can fire a cannon through representative local malls and not hit anyone. They are getting to be like semi-ghost towns.
Did anyone notice the number of empty smaller stores when they last visited their local mall?

If you can't get them anymore, I would suggest Schwan's frozen Chicken Pot Pies. The wife and I love them and they get delivered directly to our door. Just go to www.schwans.com and check them out for yourself.
Yeah, saw it in the business section of the paper this morning.
Well, it’s something to consider; maybe.
I had not heard of Schwans before. Now I know about them and know they do deliver in my area.
As for their Chicken-Pot-Pies, the price seemed about $1.00 less on four pies than what I find on the best sale prices for the Marie Calendar CP pies when any of my super markets have them on sale.
As for nutrition: the fat content appears greater, so they may even be tastier than the MC pies, but the sodium content is also higher; which, with low-level hypertension, is something I watch.
But, in as much as I have started to investigate home-delivery services from two of my super markets, I should price-compare with Schwans before starting a delivery service with either of the locals.
I have my own problems with Schwan’s. In particular their “serving sizes”. For example, their half gallon ice cream containers are not a true half gallon and according to their content chart, you should get about 17 servings per container.
Yeah right!
I'm lucky if I get 4 servings from one container! But then again, I like my ice cream!
Anyway, we pay a little more for some items, but the convenience of having it in the freezer when you get a craving is what we are really paying for.
