CHICAGO (CBS) — The teenage robbery mobs are at it again on North Michigan Avenue.
Some 50 young people barged into a Walgreens at Michigan and Chicago on the Magnificent Mile on Tuesday afternoon. They took bottled drinks and sandwiches off the shelves, then ran off, CBS 2′s Suzanne Le Mignot reports.
A police report says authorities were able to nab three of the thieves.
Walgreens says the store is working with police, helping investigators with video from the store security camera.
The Mag Mile earlier this year was hit by similar mobs of young thieves. Attacks on commuters and bicyclists have become violent, and police have stepped up patrols.

I was basically called a racist right here on FR just a couple of weeks for having the temerity to point out the facts:
1.) These types of incidents are dramatically increasing in frequency
2.) They are overwhelmingly being perpetrated by young, middle class blacks
3.) These facts are not being reorder in the media

Yes. There is a mob scene and two of the recruits get caught in it, when along comes the Commandant in his police car. They jump in and the “Youts” start bouncing the car around, so the one recruit grabs the mike and starts making machine gun noises into it, and everyone starts to scatter. I think this was in the original Police Academy movie.

The middle class Boystown neighborhood in Chicago is right on the red el line. Many of their businesses have had to shut down due to violence. Including the famous Piehole’s pizza. It was the city’s stupid idea to put a teen community center in the middle of Boystown that closed at 11pm and put all these “yutes” on the street at that time to cause havoc.If they had a midnight basketball program,at least the party would have started at 1 AM.
