ROCKFORD -- The second of three men accused of killing a Rockford ice cream vendor will be sentenced next month after a jury found him guilty.

After deliberating less than two hours Friday, the jury declared Justin Dismuke, 22, guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Isidro Duran, the Rockford Register Star reports.

Police say that on July 15, 2007, Dismuke and two others approached Duran, 47, who was selling fruit bars out of a push cart. One of the men shot Duran several times in the back and leg. Police said it was an attempted robbery.
