I Am David (2003).

Summary from IMDB: David, a 12-year-old, escapes from a Communist concentration camp with little more than a compass, a sealed letter, a loaf of bread, and instructions to carry the letter to Copenhagen, Denmark. David is thrust into the free world for the first time in his young life as he travels across Europe. His spiritual voyage of discovery, where David slowly loses his instinctive mistrust of humanity and begins to smile, share, trust and ultimately, love, addresses the cruelties, politics, and suffering of warfare while celebrating the resilience of youth and the unbreakable spirit of a child.

I like - I Am David too
also like Run Lola Run
No Way Out - Kevin Kostner
Next - Nicholas Cage
Das Boot
basicaly I like movies with a real twist you don't see coming or ones that really make you think. I like Das Boot vecause of the unique way it was filmed, in a cramped space really simulating how cramped it is on a sub.
Another good Movie is The Ultimate Gift - James Garner I guess I do have a pretty long list.

I Am David (2003).

+1

I simply cannot make it through those final scenes. The cameramen intentionally blurred the film; not sure why...:)
