Casey Anthony Live Trial Thread, Day 45: CLOSIING ARGUMENTS (7/03/11)
July 3, 2011 | truthkeeper

Posted on 07/03/2011 6:05:20 AM PDT by truthkeeper

Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.

I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.

I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.

Let me know if you want on or off the ping list.

"where did Casey get money since she had no job?"

She stole from her mother, father and grandmother. She used her mother's credit cards without authorization. She stole checks from her supposed best girlfriend.

I've never heard where she got the rest ... it had been two years since she worked at Universal. Of course, living at home left her with no real bills. No doubt she got her boyfriends to pay for lots of stuff.

Casey is simply role playing the part she’s determined the jury should see in her. Her tears are equally as deceptive as the many lies she’s given from the get go.

I have been trying to avoid the trial - but fox has nothing else to cover, even though we are currently in three wars. Four, actually, if you count Korea.

I have no idea how that poor little girl died, and I say so up front.

May G_D welcome her home.

I notice Casey is not looking to Baez for comfort, lol! She’s depending on the nice lady lawyer to hold her hand. Baez is an insensitive clod.

Are you serious? Someone typed Neck breaking and that you want to send them to their death?

The baby did not die from neck breaking. That could have been shown in skeletal remains. So you can’t transfer that theory to the baby’s death.

there is little reasonable doubt left...the mom did it...if it WAS an accident that is lacking. circumstantial evidence exists enough to convict her.

Nice try, I ain’t buying.

"She needs to live with what she did."

She is in protective custody and seems to enjoy her life in jail. She buys lots of junk food and makeup. I wonder if she will remain in protective custody when she goes to prison.

How do we know aliens didn’t kill Caylee? Clinging to possible, far fetched doubt isn’t cause to acquit.

That’s right! I’d forgotten about all the checks she’d stolen.

Am I the only one who’s noticed that the female attorney looks at Casey like she can’t stand her?

"He set himself up as the Gatekeeper of the evidence and refused to allow the defense to put on its case to the jury."

Yep we all know that this was a setup by the Bush Administration to take the countries mind off the economy, they were working hand in hand with George Anthony. The damn judge is just part of the cover up, right?

I guess you went to the Geraldo Rivera school of legal theory.

neck breaking along with searches for chloroform and othe things. This mother was trying to figure out a way to get rid of an inconvience.

I didn’t start watching closely until a couple days ago, though I sorta stay tuned from time to time.

But the gal is guilty...however the laws which govern the penalty could get her off with life...and or even less than this.

The defense has made every arguement they could congour up to raise the issue of “reasonable doubt”. They may have accomplished enough to keep her from the death penalty for it only takes one juror to doubt.

I figure the most she’ll get is 25 yrs. the least she’ll be out in four.

Keep in mind she didn’t testify because whateverr the decision they’ll appeal it...and save Casey’s testifying til then.

The hair testimony is critical. That’s enough to convict right there.

What it shows is that Casey was looking for ways to kill Caylee not that she actually broke her neck. She also looked up kidney punches and punches to the spleen.

It’s funny but lots of people are coming to this thread today who don’t seem to know alot about the trial. So some of us have to go through the same old stuff. But then, I came somewhat late to this trial too and people were patient with me.

Hey patton...you know Sudan has invaded southern Libya with military forces....so another front will be soon to materalize. Not to mention our war on the Mexican border.
Sheesh! What a bloom’in mess!

No need to respond....don’t want to hijack this thread...just saying.

Casey’s guilty IMO...and I have no doubt.

You fall down on the side of guilty, when there is doubt?

Hope you are not on the jury, If I get tried for anything.

the evidence of an accident is lacking....that leaves murder.....and WHO would do that, then party and live it up? Sad, but true...her own actions after the fact convicted her. I feel sorry for her family.....she has put them through hell after the fact. She should have stood up and confessed and saved them at least.

The prosecutor is doing an awesome job. It’s logical and it fits.....I will try to listen to the defense, but I haven’t bought into it yet, not likely I will change that opinion.

Judge Kangaroo is going to be reversed. By the time Casey serves the sentence she deserves this trial will be reversed. But I think an asylum would be more appropriate.
