Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.

Actually, I think the Judge is being very, very carefull. No misconduct. I am impressed.
No, I said she probably killed her child - but it has not been proven.
Case dismissed.
If there is an appeal it will be because of Jose Baez. He has, so far, not said a single thing to help his client.

He is terrible and he’s only been speaking for a few minutes. He’s telling them not to be sorry for Caylee.
Children are apt to defend their parents, no matter how abusive. If the girl was abused her entire life, she would not put it forth.
So we have a contradiction - she claims abuse in open court.

I have doubts that Casey was abused, no doubts that she abused and killed her child.
hahah, he’s talking about evoking emotion with pictures of Caylee? Isn’t her death what this trial is all about?
But I’m glad Baez didn’t try to trash Casey’s father and brother to save his client’s sorry arse.

Baez also asked Cindy if she remembered Lee going into Casey's room one night...Cindy said no. Baez did not ask Lee. Hmmmm....
"She claims abuse in open court"...nope, she never said a word. She didn't testify.
Abuse is hereditary - if the child was abused, probably so was the mother. Not certain, just probable.
It would be unreasonable to doubt that she killed her kid.

Why is he yammering on about child abuse? Did the prosecution ever indicate that Caylee was abused?
Judge Perry didn’t allow any abuse accusations allowed into closing arguments. Don’t think Baez wouldn’t have tried.
I hope Baez doen’t go on for over an hour
