11: It makes the scenes appear artificial and miniature. When I watch soccer in 3D (at Best Buy) it gives the sensation of watching animated Fussball, not a live game. When I am at Fenway Park I do not really see a line drive in three dimensions. I cannot tell where a fly ball is going by watching the ball, I watch the fielders’ reactions. Same thing for a punt or long forward pass at a football game. 3D baseball or football would give it the sensation of being smaller than life.

I’m so out of it, I didn’t realize all the excitement about 3D TV when it was first introduced.
Then again, I also look at today’s computer graphic special effects in movies, and think they look so fake as to be unreal. I’m probably in a minority on that, but the computer graphics special effects just don’t impress me.

How many consumer products have ever been successful with the masses if their makers had to tell you they might make you sick? Cigarettes.
Beer.

Why is anyone wasting their life watching TV?
WE Open a freaking book, turn off the boobtube, cut the cable, ditch the dish. Listen to the radio, go out and enjoy the world.
We cut the cable years ago, we read, we do other things, we are happier, and we aren’t bombarded with liberal crap.
The only thing on our TV is classic TV and Good movies from DVD, everything else we can do without. I am much happier without constant news and constant TV. Lower blood pressure, and I get all the news I need from FR, Talk Radio, and other Internet sources.

My experience with it is that it doesn’t add anything to the story.
I also really hate that technique movie producers borrowed from television, of following the bullet from the gun barrell to whereever it goes.
I think I’m quite capable of figuring it out when it ricochets off something or hits somebody.

Last year, the Consumer Electronics Association says only about 1.1 million 3D TV sets were sold. On the brighter side, they ARE out-selling the Chevy Volt!

2. It Makes You Sick Doctors have estimated that up to 20 percent of the population will get headaches, dizziness or even nausea while watching 3D. No more than get sick when Nasty Pelosi is in the news.
