Do you agree with the judge's sentence for Casey Anthony?
I'm not sure. The jury said she's not guilty, but she did lie.
Yes. She was found not guilty and has served enough time awaiting and during the trial.
No. Her lying during the police investigation cannot go unpunished.

More and more, women are killing their husbands, babies, children, etc., and getting away with it. Now, look for others to kill their children, hide the body for months until it deteriorates to the point of no way to identify the cause of Death, destruction of the corpse, etc., so as to use the "Prosecution cannot establish cause of Death" defense.
As a Country, we have de-valued human life, and celebrate "party mentalities", as was clearly shown in this "Trial".
Most mothers would not go without reporting their 2-year old disappearing for more than a month, nor would they go out and get a "Life is Good" tattoo afterward, IMHO.

But he said they’d have to calculated what remains of the four years after subtracting time served (just shy of 3 years) and good behavior (which I thought was 7 months?) to determine what was left, which he indicated he intended for her to have to serve. Well, at first on FNC news they were saying it would figure to be her having to serve until, or sometime in, Feb. of ‘12. Then, everything changed to saying she got credit for 1,043 days which calculates to be next Wednesday when she gets out.
What happened? Does that mean that there were more than 7 months for good behavior?

They should have asked, “Which of the following most fits the Casey Anthony verdict?”
1) The prosecution didn’t prove its case
2) The jury didn’t use their brains
I am not sure she deliberately killed her child, but her reckless acts did the job all right.
IMO she is guilty of Manslaughter at least.
The poll did not have an question that I was happy in picking. A question such as” Should we sterilise this POS so she doesn’t have a chance to kill another cute little girl”
She is being treated like any other prisoner. The judge is prohibited by law from treating her any different.
She would have to have a conscience first. Her actions after she knew the child was dead say otherwise.

This was an absolute travesty. The one juror who’s been on multiple shows, Jennifer Ford, is a young ditz and O’Reilly was so disturbed by her statements he made it his opening talking point, about the fact that she (and apparently other jurors) embraced the groundless theory of accidental drowning put out by the defense, despite there being no evidence whatsoever to support it:

There have been murder convictions in the past where there was NO body - all circumstantial. And in the Lacey Peterson case, there wasn’t enough of her body left to determine cause of death - again, circumstantial. Yet, thankfully, Scott’s on death row now, as he obviously should be. It does appear these jurors were a product of the “CSI effect” and also didn’t understand the difference between “reasonable doubt” and “shadow of a doubt” - an important distinction.
I agree with a disgusted Bernie Goldberg - these jurors demonstrated they don’t possess a modicum of common sense. They refused to take all the many puzzle pieces and come to a logical decision. Some were also said to consider the (once again, groundless) accusation of sexual abuse by George Anthony, even though the judge ruled against it as being baseless.
And tragically, this poor darling, innocent little girl will have no justice, no retribution against her monster of a “mother”.
