Mexican drug traffickers are expanding their activities in the country and forming links with local bosses in four different provinces,

Approx. 3 1/2 years ago my BIL's niece in Honduras lost her 28 year old son to a kidnapping.

The story I got is this: David's two best friends were brothers who came from a very wealthy family, wealthy to the point that they always traveled with a bodyguard.

On this particular day, David was picked up at his home by his friends who were on their way to turn over the keys to a house they had just rented out to a Mexican couple. Following their arrival, a van pulled up and gunmen jumped out and forced David, his friends and the Mexican couple into the van and drove off. Neither David, his friends or the Mexican couple were ever seen again. This was the story the security guard gave to the authorities and of course he was under suspicion for having something to do with the kidnapping.

Were David and his friends involved with drugs? Absolutely not, in fact, David had borrowed $5 from his aunt the day before.

Based on the info I quoted, it's quite likely the Mexican couple were moving into San Pedro to set up their trafficking network but a rival gang got wind of their activity and made their stay shortlived. Unfortunately David and his buddies were innocent bystanders who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time......

These drug cartels care nothing about colateral damage and will open fire on a crowd in a soccer stadium just to kill a rival........
