Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) It has suddenly gotten busier with diversions. Joining our earlier noted 767-300 is another United 767-300 from London Heathrow and a 777-200 headed to Frankfurt just landed. The 767-300s in United (new blue, pre CO) are now parked at the FIS at the end on Concourse A and the 777-200 is on pad 1 (in new United/Continental livery).
CLE had another unexpected visitor this afternoon. United flight 965, a Boeing 767-300 flying from Moscow to Washington Dulles landed with a medical emergency onboard. CLE medical staff are attending to the passenger. The aircraft is expected to be refueled and dispatched to IAD.
Ping! Birds on ground for you!
Link leads to a message that document does not exist on the server.
Our Moscow diversion is on the left and the London Heathrow is on the right, both are Boeing 767-300
Something is fishy.
I am on the FB page right now...Just posted pics of the planes.
Is that a total of 3 emergencies all landing at Cleveland???
Sorry, link in message #1.
Try that...it is a facebook page for the airport.
They must of had the fish.
Yeah, guess CLE is the closest airport that hasn’t been affected by E. Coast storms. Family flying into NY today from Paris. Waiting for the call that they’ve landed safely.
Yes, all overseas flights either inbound or outbound.
This is like something Al Qaeda would do.
These are the big planes too. We don’t normally get them on the ground here unless there is weather or emergencies. I thought it was odd we have 3 on the ground today.
One is a medical emergency...
One fight...which the FBI and CPD are handling...
The last one ? I haven’t heard anything and may be due to weather.
Update for you...
Saleh Ali S. Alramakh,
Previous arrests for drug possession
Right after take off Alramakh returned to the restroom to use his electronic device once again despite the fact that passengers were required to remain seated with seat belts fastened.
....then it got even worse. http://www.fox8.com/news/wjw-unruly-passenger-flight-diverted-cleveland-suspect-arrested-txt,0,291126.story
If I had been a passenger on that flight...I just might have been freaking out.
