Is that the same cannibal that passed his brother in the woods?
What did one Cro-Magon cannibal say to the other Cro-Magnon cannibal?
`Oh do you remember that Neanderthal guy that always hung around the bone pit?
Well, I had him over for lunch on Saturday.`
I suspect ‘bling’ is really a practical innovation in an archaic society where wearing your most valuable/sacred possessions around your neck and carrying them everywhere were simply the only means of securing them.

“Wow, look at the size of that rock Ugg is wearing! Is that a genuine Fossil sundial he’s got on?”
“I don’t know, but he looks good enough to eat!”
;)
;’)
Hannibal Lecter was European.
“Why did the author of this piece use the word Bling? Was she born and raised in the Ghetto, and only speaks Ebonics?”
Why pass up a chance to demonstrate solidarity with an oppressed minority?
BTW: Use of the word “ghetto” is just an attempt to steal credibility from the Jews, who actually were forced to live in them, sometimes being locked in at night.
Our minorities live in slums, not ghettos, and these places are slums because they turned them into slums. Except for housing projects, they were all respectable neighborhoods at some point.
I have pity for young people who are forced to become thugs by slightly older thugs, who are beaten if they do well in school because that is “too white,” who don’t understand why they should puke when somebody says “stay black.”
However, if I see a mob of them with bricks and clubs headed for my domicile, I will use the minimum amount of force necessary to ensure the safety of my wife and children.
