On Friday afternoon, Evansville Police say they stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Lodge and Riverside.

Police say the female passenger in the car, 33-year-old Samantha Phillips, had an active misdemeanor warrant.

Police also say they found meth in a child's Happy Meal bag, and the area that the vehicle was stopped was within 1,000 feet of a school.

Phillips was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail. Her bond is set at $5,500.

She's facing charges of failure to appear and possession of meth.

Hey, McDonald’s is responding to Michelle Obama’s obesity initiative: crystal meth is bound to keep those kiddies trim.

MacDonnalds is selling crack? Other than health care, what
else are they exempt from? Next they will be exempt from
paying the taxes they collect from their illegal employees.

Me too. I was just wondering how that did not make it on the National News but meth in a Happy meal did?

This couldn’t have happened in San Francisco.

Happy Meals are illegal here.

Did she put her stash in the kid’s meal, hoping the police wouldn’t look into the bag?

That evil McDonald's at it again. Moochelle Obummer is right. They are the scourge of the Earth. Now they are planting drugs on fine upstanding citizens like this woman.

Can someone please think of the children?

That's terrible news about the cat. I hope it survived. If you would like to post that news, the Kitty Ping would defiantly send it around for many to read.

Happy Toothless Meal?

I could always spot them in high school. Maybe watching four people share a tooth at lunch was the tip off.

What a worthless story. She didn’t force the crack down a babys throat, or hide it in a diaper. She hid it in a SACK, like any other halfway intelligent person would try to do. It has NOTHING to do with KIDS, which it is trying to imply.

Stories like this make me wonder about the intelligence of the moron who wrote it.

I think I’ll go look for a cat to run over....

By all means charge her with possession, etc., but invoking the "1,000 feet of a school" rule because that's where the cops pulled her over is just plain silly.
