But I thought I read they were finally closing Borders. Or am I just confused on how the President is really helping us?

He did close Borders. 399 stores, and 10,700 jobs gone. He's helping us real good.

“Killed and tortured”?

“Father expecting his first child”?

Good gravy.

“American College Student Killed and Tortured in Mexico”

Talk about adding insult to injury.

“the body of 21-year-old Juan Carlos Navarro of Nogales, Ariz.”

How do we know he was American?

“If they like that Mexican Pride so much, why not just go back.”

I thought of having a bumper sticker made up that says “Mexico, Love it or Leave it.” it would be in both Spanish and English

You can be killed AND tortured?

Sloppy.

Well you can’t be killed THEN tortured, which is what the headline states. Sloppy is right.

I don’t know how Mexico fixes this. I really don’t know.

I'm not convinced they want to. Sure, they'll make the occasional arrest or find and burn marijuana fields, but the cartels are heavily populated with current and former military and law enforcement people. Further, the infiltration by organized crime elements of government administrations from the smallest village all the way up to the federal government is the stuff of legend.

Exacerbating this is the fact the bribe culture is so thick down there, the level of Mexican political corruption would make the dirtiest Chicago pol wince with embarrassment... or envy.

"You can be killed AND tortured?"

Yeah, sloppy for sure. What was written in Vegas should have stayed in Vegas.

RIP Carlos.

One question however, why torture the dead? Seriously...

Hey I got a crazy idea ! Why don’t we get the Govt to send them machine guns

Great idea! I'll bounce that one off Eric Holder! Maybe we can pass an assault-weapons ban as part of the blowback! Heck, we can pass the ban even if they catch us up to no good! We'll claim that our illegal actions are proof of the need for gun control.

Why are people still going to Mexico?

Because you will never feel more alive, then when you narrowly escape death.

KFYI "The Valley's Talk Station" talk show host Bruce Jacobs used to call Napolitano "Nappy" back when she was governor...

You just brought back memories for me. I listened to KFYI when I lived there. Bruce got away with a lot of stuff. He seemed fearless.

“Why are people still going to Mexico?”

Stupidity. Mexicans hate our “gringo” guts. Beats me why anyone would go to a place where the people loathe them.

“And all the illegal aliens fly the bandera and spout “Mexican pride.” Pride in what? Mexico could be a great country if not for Mexican culture.”

Failure IS their culture. And they wear that failure proudly.

“And my co-workers still make fun of my choice not to vacation in Mexico. It’s not just the border towns, this kind of stuff is happening in Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta. No thanks. They can have their cheap blankets, vanilla, and tequila.”

And don`t forget the BIG hats. And libs will argue till they`re blue in the face how superior in every way Mexican culture is to ours.
