Because according to just released info, they could not have been more wrong, and it is the reaction to precisely this type of prejudice that will never facilitate bridging frayed relations between disparate cultures. Anyway, so much for prejudiced speculation and/or lies about some Islamist organization taking the blame for the events in Norway today. Yeah I’m going to be a skeptic about this until some real facts emerge. The Giffords shooting was immediately attributed to some sort of right wing/Tea Party hatred and it turned out that the shooter was a deranged leftist. Even if Islam isn’t involve in the Norway tragedy it doesn’t automatically mean that the shooter had some sort of conservative agenda. Let’s see.

Which incident does this refer to? The one in Oslo or the one at the camp on the island?

I very highly doubt that one cranky individual could cook up a bomb that would do as much damage and as far away, as this one did. I’ll go with a professional bomb maker who knew just what damage would be done...

I just went into the maps and satellite photos to see where the bombing took place, and that was quite instructive. I checked out the IDs on the surrounding buildings, what agency was where, who did what.
The reporters should have explained to us how a motor vehicle got placed in that spot ~ which appears to be a PROHIBITED ZONE with no parking at all.
Notice that there's only one vehicle involved and that's the one that blew up!
So why is the Norwegian news media (headquarters for the largest group in Norway is right there) covering up that aspect of the story?

I think that has pretty much be debunked as a crank claim, those are easy to do and I don’t know if anyone had ever heard of the group who made the claim before.
