My mother didn't beat me - it was just a joke says Fergie as she backtracks on abuse claims

Just two months ago, she accused her mother of horrific abuse in an emotional outpouring on American TV. Her late mother, Susan Barrantes, regularly beat her, the Duchess of York alleged during her reality show Finding Sarah.

'When she used to hit me because I didn't sit on my potty or wouldn't eat, a little vein would come up on the centre of my head near my red hair,' she said, adding that her mother called it the 'sign of the devil' and would shout, 'I'm going to beat that devil out!'

I do wonder how on earth that develops (pathological lying).

I think it’s Borderline actually. During her marriage she was apparently so wildly promiscuous with all and sundry that she supposedly got tested for AIDS. Then the money problems, the lack of control with her temper, you have a huge cocktail for something like that.

I so agree.... all I had to hear from my Father was, “I’m so disappointed...” and I started bawling. It was far worse to think he was upset with me than anything my Mother wanted to spank me with....and although I still say I wasn’t beaten, I never really had to spank my children. I learned from my Dad that talking to them worked better.

Well, this is a woman who used her daughters as tickets to VIP parties when they were in their early teens. I have no CLUE on what is so wrong with the BRF that they allow this when normal parents haev lost their kids for less.
