Space may be the final frontier, but Star Trek is a well-explored universe by now. Captain Kirk, the Enterprise, transporters, phasers, tricorders and Klingons are part of our common language. But there's still tons of insane stuff you've never heard about Trek.

If I'm not mistaken, he took her to swinger clubs and tried to get her to participate.
Yeah, he's a loser.
Same here. One interesting factoid is that the Otis Elevator people visited the Star Trek set to see how they so quickly opened the lift doors. They were a bit surprised when they saw two guys manually operating them.
Yeah, the fact that they would be sex acts in public makes them a perversion, but sex with your own wife, who looks like Jeri Ryan??? Of course, I note again that the public sex acts, according to both Mr. and Mrs. Ryan, never happened.
However there are reasons to belief that Jeri Ryan was lying in the child custody hearings.
1) This was a charge made in divorce court, in a custody dispute. Anyone who knows about these things knows perjury is rampant in divorce court. ‘Nuff said.
2) At the time of the alleged sex acts, Jeri Ryan was already internationally well known actress. Therefore there would have been no anonymity about the sex, unlike most people who visit this sort of establishment and whom no one would recognize.
3) Jack Ryan has always denied the allegations.
4) Jeri Ryan has never repeated them outside of divorce court, and has only spoken positively about her ex-husband. She has refused to talk about the allegations.
Full disclosure: most is this information is from memory out of one of Ann Coulter's books. I do not claim it as my own original work.
In sum the Obamanation became a U.S. Senator and is probably President of the United States of America because of sexual acts that never took place. That statement by itself makes me fear that God has turned His back on the United States and handed us over to Lucifer to be destroyed. Let us pray that is not true.
Make mine Tranya.

She was the voice of the computers in TNG, DS9 and Voyager.
That was the same as my memory of reading about it. My guess is that is was a false accusation but I guess it is impossible to know for sure.
A political dirty trick by Obama with the cooperation of a corrupt judge.
Thanks for your post. I remembered that the scandal involved a sex club but I was short on the details.
Certain Klingons develop a symbiotic relationship with horseshoe crabs. General Chang from the Undiscovered Country is an example whose crab has died and fallen off (leaving little scars where it had attached).
There was a (non-canon) Star Trek novel that explained this. Data noted on Star Trek TNG that "Andorian marriages require groups of four". The writers went with the assumption that Andorians basically have four genders then, two roughly corresponding to "male" and two roughly corresponding to "female". Since it takes four people to produce a single child (and they rarely have twins), the Andorian species becomes endangered. This explains why we see lots of Andorians on Enterprise (22nd century), only a few on TOS (23rd century), and virutally none by the time of TNG. By Picard's time, Andorians are in danger of becoming extinct and there is an effort underway to save their population.
>> Second, what the hell happened to the Klingons. In the original series they didnt have bumpy foreheads but they did in all the later series. Even the Enterprise prequel series gave them bumpy noggins. <<
Simple answer is "better makeup techniques" between TOS and TNG/movies. That's the one I prefer, since all the aliens changed appearance after TOS, including Andorians and Romuluans (in more subtle ways though). However, Star Trek did give un a canon explanation. It's explained in the 2-part episode "Affliction"/"Divergence" of Star Trek ENT's 4th season. It was an OK episode, watch it if you must, but I didn't need an in-universe explanation for this any more than I needed an in-universe explanation why going to "warp speed" looks different in the big budget movies than the 60s TV show.
i just found it on Netflix! season 4, episodes 15 and 16 of Star Trek Enterprise...
I still re-read mine. I think that one might have been the one where they all told the stories about their Kobayashi Maru tests.
