I remember one time to LOL about. I went to play golf with an old H.S. friend a few years back. The T-off spo was occupied by a couple of geese. I chased them off and they started to get really mad. Of course, if they got close, the golf club wins !

Plus they are smart and very territorial. We had a pair of geese on the farm who held strangers driving in at bay better than a dog. A pet dog is always a sucker for a doggie treat. Geese will hiss and honk until the owners come out of the house to check out who is in the driveway.

They also learned who were the repeat visitors whom we welcomed. How they could tell just by the car, we never could figure out.
