It is probably simply that your preferences is clear. Go to the main page and look for this line:
Brevity: Headers | « Text »

Click either Headers or Text to see it in the format you want.

Try and reboot. I got the updates and don’t have a problem.

Chrome

FF is getting to be like MS products. Every release gets more difficult to use and more bloated.

I’m running Firefox Nightly — 9.0 alpha — and it is very fast. They made some memory improvements in Firefox 8.0 and the new Firefox is about twice as fast as 7.0 and earlier.

Aurora and Beta:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/channel/

Firefox Nightly:
http://nightly.mozilla.org/

Their new versioning system is CRAZY. I am running 9.0 Nightly, others are running 8.0 Aurora, most of the cutting-edge folks are running 7.0 Beta and now 6.0 is the “real” release.

So if Firefox 9.0 is The New Hotness, which one is Old And Broken?

Crazy, crazy, crazy.

PS. If anyone wants to try Firefox Nightly, you can disable Firefox from checking for extension compatibility. Most Addons work just fine with the latest releases, but Firefox won’t recognize that they do. I found these instructions online:

“To get your Addons working under Nightly 7.0a1:
Open a new tab.
Type about:config in the address bar.
Right click anywhere on the page and click on Boolean under New.
Enter this as the preference name: extensions.checkCompatibility.nightly
Click OK.
Choose false and then click OK again.
Restart your browser and all your add-ons should be runnable again.”

Got it fixed. Somehow the update changed the brevity setting to Headers from Text and switched away from the Articles tab at the same time. Did I mention that I put out streetlights when I drive past them?
