Will Congressman Eliot Ness Please Stand Up?

As the United States continues on its downward trajectory, thanks to the policies of Barack Obama, the debate rages about whether he’s doing it all on purpose or is just incompetent. When talk radio giant Rush Limbaugh discusses this, he concludes that “it doesn’t matter” because the result is the same either way.

Limbaugh misses a very critical line of distinction when he says that. If Obama is incompetent, it means he must be voted out of office. If he is intentionally destroying the country as it was founded, it means he has malicious intent and must be removed through impeachment and a Senate trial. It would also mean that he is a domestic enemy.

It wouldn’t matter if Al Capone were president of the United States, impeachment and a Senate trial is the only way to remove a sitting president from office. As for Capone, the Chicago mob boss was guilty of many things, the worst of which was murder. The Feds knew it but they couldn’t prove it. They also knew Capone was guilty of income tax evasion, which they could and did prove. Perhaps he wasn’t convicted of his most egregious crimes but it didn’t matter; he could do no more damage.

If this administration is intentionally destroying our nation (Rush at least doesn’t dismiss this possibility), the responsibility to remove Obama necessarily falls to 535 congressmen who took an oath to defend us against an occupant of the White House who is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. Maybe they can’t prove he’s doing it on purpose but if they know it, they should impeach and convict for a crime they can prove. It is their Constitutional duty to do so....

If Barack Obama is intentionally destroying the United States, impeachment is the constitutional responsibility of Congress and Operation Fast and Furious may be the best way to do it.

If congress doesn’t already know the man is deliberately destroying this country with his actions, maybe then congress is not competent and needs to be removed itself as well. Unfortuntely the only way to remove congress is through elections. Or just seceding from the whole blasted mess.

Frankly I think the states should just slam the door and say no more. Income tax is funneled to DC from Texas through our Workforce Commission. All they have to do is shut the money door and see who gets competent all of a sudden.

What if half of those who must vote to convict and a large part of those who must vote to impeach are themselves involved in those same high crimes and misdemeanors?

Impeachment won’t happen to Obama.

He was never qualified by bith, experience or ability.

The Democrat Party has no moral values and the Republican Party doesn’t have the courage to do the right thing.

Just look at the the debt ceiling issue that they couldn’t stand up for the people.

I would like to see a clean house of Congress replaced with honest people (like Sen Ron Johnson WI)elected to Congress that are interested in the best interests of the USA. But this is unlikley to happen with the uneducated voters that want to continue their welfare benefits from the government.
