If terrorist methods are as widely available as automobiles, why are there so few Islamist terrorists? In light of the death and devastation that terrorists have wrought, the question may seem absurd. But if there are more than a billion Muslims in the world, many of whom supposedly hate the West and desire martyrdom, why don't we see terrorist attacks everywhere, every day?

There ARE terrorist attacks every day. The lamestream media just doesn't report on them so the vast majority of sheeple think there's no problem. http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Pages/TheList.htm http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/index.html#Attacks

why don't we see terrorist attacks everywhere, every day? The U.S. State Department recently announced that there were 11,604 terrorist attacks in 72 countries during the calendar year 2010.
There were 365 days in calendar year 2010. You do the math.

Did you read the entire article??
I believe the author was citing suicide bombings and other terrorist acts where the purpose was the death of the target.
Many many "terrorist" acts are committed that do not have the death of the target(s) as their objective.

Super cartoon....in the comic strip “Pearls before Swine”, Larry (alligator) has been assigned the job of being a suicide bomber to blow up Zebra’s wall! Great cartoon!

You're badly mistaken. Muslim violence is happening as you read this very sentence. Try reading, because it appears you aren't.

I posted an article. If anyone is "mistaken" (in your opinion), it is the author of the article. I'm betting you didn't even read it.
I posted it because it makes one think...which is a good thing for most of us.
And just so you know....I tend to stay as far away from christian religious "tracts" masquarading as objective journalism as I possibly can.
But that's just me. I'm sure you can "sell" your items to those here on FR that are interested.
I'm not.
