Huntsman, Santorum, and Paul prove they don’t belong. Perry loses a few notches while Romney gains a few, Bachman and Cain tread water while Newt shows he’s the one man on that stage that really has any busines being President.
I agree with you on Huntsman, Paul and Santorum. I wish this were the show Survivor and we could vote those three off the island for the next two debates.
After tonight I’d really like to see a whittled down five man field with Perry, Cain, Bachman, Romney and Newt.
Agree with your assessment.
Whaaaaat!? Are you off your meds?
A second Newt fan here?!?! I may cling to you like a lift raft. ;-)
Seriously, I realize that I’ve become somewhat of a one-note-Johnny here on the subject of Newt, but I hate the way conservatives dis him and find him to be far and away the most compelling and substantive of all these people. And I say this recognizing he’ll never get the nod and I’ll likely get flamed.
Bless you.
Hank
I agree that Newt as in the first debate came out as the strong man for removing Obama. I get the feeling that Newt being in the debates is like a father figure to guide the others on the political realities of big time presidential politics. Too bad he has the personal baggage that will not be in his favor as the top gun.

.
No Third Way Socialist has any business being president. Thankfully, newtie has less than zero chance.
Newt has the smarts but he’s not electable.
And I question is judgment making that climate change commercial with Pelosi.
