the Ft. Hood Memorial Service...
The Crotch Salute Returns
I am sorry folks, but is this the jerk that was elected President of our country? You know, the United States of America .
I do believe that saluting the flag goes with that, as does respecting and honoring the service members who have died.
Does this pompous ass believe he is above that gesture? If not a salute, how about a hand over the heart like the other guy? He can shower us all with flowery words (via teleprompter) and dazzle us with his B.S, but actions speak louder. He has no idea about patriotism or respect.
EVERYONE needs to see this Pic!
Help please. Anyone remember the story on this?
At some point, I did a little research and found that hand clasp pose to be Muslim related. I’d say something form his youth.
Thank you. I hadn’t read that. Do you remember what was going on when the pic was taken?
This says it was taken during Hail to the Chief and not a failure to salute.

LOLOLOLOL!
That picture was not taken at Ft. Hood.
I believe it was at Arlington on Memorial Day.
Do people put their hands over their hearts (as the suited gentleman is doing) when Hail to the Chief is played??????
It was Ft Hood. I looked at other pics and watched a video and it is from 2009 at Ft Hood.
Later in the day, the president headed to Fort Belvoir, Va., to play golf.

Do you happen to know how truthful that site is? Some are Obama apologists like Snopes.
That's what threw me.
FWIW, I believe that “Hail to the Chief” is usually played as POTUS enters an event. It would not normally be played while he is standing at the podium. I suppose it’s possible that he reached the podium as they were coming to the end of it. But it doesn’t look that way.
That’s EXACTLY where it belongs!NOT in OUR WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hail to the Chief is played when the President
enters a room or location; people rise in respect
but do not salute.
Now why does the guy in a suit have his hand over his heart and Bammy doesn't. LOL
Has anyone ever heard "Hail to the Chief" played for Obama?
"Hail to the Chief," when it used to be played, was played when the President walked into the room or onto the stage, not when he was already there. And if it were being played and the military folks were saluting, they would be saluting him. They are not. And us civilians would never think of putting our hands over our hearts.
Otherwise the explanation is completely plausible.

Thank you thank you thank you! You are a darling!
Hell to the chief!
