I just received the following email and think it is a good description of why some many illegals seem to be driving new trucks while mine is ten years old.

Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.
Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps and welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe Legal now has 9,631 ..00.

Joe Legal pays for his children's lunches while Jose Illegal's children get a government sponsored lunch. Jose Illegal's children have an after school ESL program. Joe Legal's children go home.
Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

I real life:
Jose Illegal has several fake ID’s and collects government handouts for each of these fake identities.
Joe Legal contributes every week to support his church and pays for his children to receive religious instruction.
Jose Illegal contributes nothing to his church but his family asks for handouts because they are poor.
Jose Illegal has many relatives who are criminals. They steal things that they give or sell cheaply to Joe Illegal.
Joe Illegal takes his children to the emergency room every time they are sick and pays for nothing. If Joe Legal’s children get sick he has to wait 3 to 4 hours to get them to see a doctor even though he pays for treatment.
Joe Illegal’s children get affirmative action admission to college and are catered to and given free tuition, free books, etc.
Joe Legals kids are refused admission to elite colleges and he must pay full, tuition fees etc for his children.
You’ve missed something. Jose either uses an ITIN # or a bogus, maybe stolen SS# and gets $6-8K EITC and child tax credits.

I think you have hit on the common thread between illegals and "progressives" and the difference to patriotic Americans.
An American patriot sees this as our country which we are proud to support.
illegals and "progressives" see this as an evil country and strive to take from it as much as it is foolishly willing to give to them.
Of the 20 or so working there, I could count only 5 obvious Mexicans...I'm sure some portion of them illegal.
However, last year it was all Mexicans except for the couple of guys handling money and taking orders.

There is eventually going to have to be some sort of weeding out process. But before we begin to decide how to do all of that we have to seal the border and enforce the immigration laws.
Once they get signed up for all of the government bennies, they are better off not working just like the professional welfare class.

I would suggest that you use “Jose Legal” and “Jose Illegal”. I know many “Jose(s)” who are “legal”. You are comparing two foreigners against each other. just sayin...
That would be a sucker bet. Both Perry and Romney have a documented history of saying one thing and doing another on illegals.

On the contrary, Rick Perry is openly and strongly pro-illegal immigration. He defends taxpayer subsidies of illegals as "the American Dream."
