'Sex-free' passports for transgenders (UK)
Daily Telegraph ^ | 19 Sep 2011 | Martin Evans

The Home Office is considering changing British passports to allow transgender people to opt out of identifying themselves as male or female.

The proposed moves follows pressure from the Liberal Democrats who claim it is necessary to avoid problems encountered by people who are undergoing sex change operations.

Currently everybody with a passport must identify themselves as male or female on the document.

But the Home Office has begun a consultation on changing the system to allow a category for the small minority of people who are unable to tick either box.

Supporters claim it will avoid problems at passport control for people whose appearance does not match the sex stated on their passport.

But some Home Office officials have expressed concern that it could create more difficulties for the already stretched UK Border Agency.

Good question. I think they should consider hiring 10 to 20 thousand transgendered employees for the purpose. This will include all three kinds - ones who have undergone chopadickoffame (male to female), addadicktomy (female to male) and also ones that are currently undergoing either and genderless for the moment. And as a side benefit look at how many jobs that would create.

The UK is leading the West in to the abyss of destruction but at least they are doing it with good intentions!

Now when you donate blood at the Blood Cross in Oregon they will ask you what your gender is. You can answer that question any way you feel. The problem with that is how do you answer the medical history questions in a straight manner if you are think you are a woman when you are really a man and vice versa?

I looked up some info on the FAA website today. You have to let them know if you changed genders so they can update your licenses. The madness is already here.
