I posted a link to CNN news on it, it got deleted. I did multiple searches using multiple keywords and combos and can't see anything about it.
Considering FReepers usually post breaking news within minutes of it being announced, I cant figure out what's going on. Software glitch? Deliberate censorship?

Alot of people, members and lurkers, watch FR for breaking news. It makes no sense to pull a thread instead of the mod just asking me to fix it.
I could understand it if there were already four threads on it, but as far as I can tell, there isn’t even a single thread yet...
There has been alot of haggling over the “Breaking News” category lately and I wish somebody would come up with some guidelines...
Meanwhile, Sarah Palin sneezes and there are 27 posts about it...

I agree with other posters. The OP seems to be one of many who want to get a story into Breaking News ASAP.
Yesterday I laughed at someone so anxious to be the first, that they double posted the headline. Then, to make matters worse, they posted a day old story.

One day three men were hiking along and came upon a raging, violent river. They needed to get to the other side, but had no idea of how to do it.
