What they believe in. Many militia extremists view themselves as protecting the U.S. Constitution, other U.S. laws, or their own individual liberties. They believe that the Constitution grants citizens the power to take back the federal government by force or violence if they feel it’s necessary. They oppose gun control efforts and fear the widespread disarming of Americans by the federal government.

When gun control efforts include shooting down Mexican helicopters, or murdering over 200 poor brown Mexicans, HOW is opposing those efforts shameful or bad?

I wonder if these wizards of smart have ever read the Declaration of Independence? Not only does it sanction the change of government, it obligates citizens to do so when that government becomes oppressive. I don’t recall that it says how that should be done.

The entire Northcom/Department of Homeland Security apparatus was designed since its inception to go after Americans who don’t want to see our Constitution, our economy, and our national sovereignty destroyed on the alter of world government. The Muslim boogieman was used the sell this domestic police state to the most gullible saps that ever fell off the turnip truck - the U.S. public.

According to the report, the “rhetoric” isn’t against the law but they are preventing violence associated with the rhetoric and mentioned they are working with the ATF.

The nature of a militia is defensive. Any neighborhood that doesn’t have a reaction team in place these days is swimming downstream in the Piranha River.

I’m going to sign up for those updates. I want to hear asap when they get to discussing the third world drug gangs amongst us or the future announcements of the structure of Obama’s suggested civilian force.

I took a solemn Oath of Military service back in 69— I dang near got two local Sherriffs out of the seats in an IHOP where they were talking guns by saying I may be too old for the shoot and scoot but I dang sure can still lock ‘n loard
for them that need my help. Like I told the FBI back when ol ‘ Run for the Border Bill was on one of his last trips as President to Denver. was essentially I’ve No interest is removing a single target. I was old enough to see what happened when some idiot thought taking out JFK was a good thing. I have no Army to call on for the necessary ground support-No Airforce for Air support, No Navy /nor Arty for HE. And I may be crazy but I still have enough working brain cells to realize it would take removing a full 2/3 (or more) of everyone who works in or for the boys over in Foggy Bottom to affect any positive change in American Govt. I have no desire to leave my wife— and my children ,and now grandchildren without what support I can offer them —and they ,ean more to me than any Mere politician ever did.
And as nobody has come forward to offer credible offer to fund and equip and train me to do their dirty work. And especially as nobody has deposited several Millions of dollars in a secure bank account for my wife-and or children should I get stupid and go head hunting with the politicians
I reckon the a—holes and useful idiots in three piece suites is safe-so long as they do not invade sovereign territory under my American flag known as my property with evil intent. The FBI guys from Denver seemed spooked when I refused to accept their LIE that they had gone to the local police chief out of uniform/ie unarmed. That I noticed the ankle bulge on one of the good ol’boys. Or that I suggested
If they want future discussions we can do it at my table in my house-with my loaded shotgun on the table before me to level the playing field just a mite. If my PAtriotism makes me a domestic Terrorist let them go ask Allah -or the Imam of their choice what it means to trust Allah but tie up your donkey.

Dang it ,son —you sound like a son of the South.Ask any Carpet Bagger and they will say the War put an end to any such speculation that any State has a right to cede the Union.
And leaving the Declaration to the dustbin of history allows them to ignore that niggling little detail called the US Constitution—or its mandated administration of a solemn Oath or affirmation to preserve protect, and defend the Constitution.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Maybe the FBI needs to read the Declaration of Independence from time to time.

The Constitution doesn't grant a G-D- thing to the People. It is the People who grant, via the Constitution, various limited authorities to the federal gov't. One of which, btw, explicitly does not include gun control.
