Last night's Fox News debate choice of questions, Hannity's lack of Rick Perry post debate interview, and Hannity's strained Rick Perry interview Wednesday night show that Fox News has an anti-Perry tilt.
Begone.
And that's likely where you will find him.
The point is these claims are bunk. People constantly whine that Fox is out to get their candidate and it's utter nonsense.
Perry has also had plenty of good coverage from Fox. He's now done poorly in a few debates and is getting some criticism and pointed questions. Big deal, it isn't a conspiracy to hurt Perry. Fox is not out to get Palin, Perry or anyone else.
“If you want to be cleaver, you need the phrase to be a clever play on words”
Somebody hasn’t been doing his French homework. :) “Faux” in French means “false.” Hence False News. It was a clever play on words, albeit one used by liberals extensively over the past 5-years or so.
FoxNews basically marginalized Bachmann last evening, asked her few questions.
FoxNews continued what CNN managed to get started last week, but MSNBC failed to accomplish — getting the wannabes to go after each other.
It makes for a good side show atmosphere but that is about all.
Isn’t Hannity already the only TV host or reporter that Perry’s seen fit to be interviewed by so far in the campaign? And wasn’t that interview just this past week?
You really don’t expect Perry to muster himself for two such interviews so early in his campaign, do you?
Perry rarely does very good in these “sound byte debates”, same in the Texas ones. If and whenever we get to some 2 or 3 on stage, he works better because there is more time to offer details in a real debate format, not just prepared comebacks.
Up against nobama one on one, he would look much better.
The whiners are having a glitter party this morning as Rick delivers the long game goods, but loses the debate....again.
Never seen so many naive citizen pol’s on FR, enabling the RINO ROMNEY, who never shows up anywhere but for debate night. All this ground work to deliver for the media, the RINO cabal, FOX, the LUNTZ forum, the neocon websites, NRO, Malkin of all people, all to promote Palin, who will snipe rightously, but never run.
That’s funny right there ;-) Nice bling on Missus G last night, I noticed. Sometimes Dana looks pretty good, other times like she came straight from the gym.
Fox News is the best we got, but it’s still run by people who are fundamentally elitists, but who happened to notice there is life out in the red states, so why not present both sides of issues instead of just one.
You’re right in your appraisal of Hannity and FOX in general. But if Perry continues on in this way, does he really deserve the nomination? He’s got as many negatives as Romney, and they’re different ones.....I could see the drums beating for Romney literally TWO years ago-—and I could see among the talking heads on radio and TV who are ostensibly on “our” side, that Hannity was not resolute and would never come out forcefully for anyone until late in the game-—he’s both “Mediator” and “Weathervane”. Levin, Mark Steyn and Rush are a different story, but none of them
will be able to either back or not back Sarah Palin until and unless she actually gets in the race. Romney seems the choice of both the MSM and Fox. It increasingly looks like we are left with NO candidate who could sweep us off our feet and get us believing that they’re actually going to make a difference, because to do that a candidate has to grasp the entirety of just how bad the last two years especially have been and just what a seriously deranged ‘leadership’ we’ve had to put up with. In this context Cain actually looks good.Palin is the only one who has articulated the right things, but she has GOT to announce, and start submitting herself to the heat all over again. This is the final phase of the “Pro Game” and time is running out.
Gingrich has less baggage and more brainpower than most other candidates and FAR more than the Obamamonster.
In a debate, Gingrich would chew him up, spit him out and make a sidewalk piazza of him.
Good Point.
He’s a Bush. He’s an uber-Christian and he wants to show his compassion to these less fortunates with other peoples’ money.
And he will not get my vote.
People that believe Faux News is conservative are deluding themselves. Being slightly to the right of CNN is hardly conservative.
The other one I HATE is the Green Energy Commercial from Bosch that has the little kid come out and lecture me about saving the planet and saving money.
Bet you're not feeling cleaver ?!?...now. ; )
maybe you jess dunt no. (why didnt I think of that....)
Not knowing Perry from Adam, I gave him 3 debates now to introduce himself to me and show me what hes got. Conclusion he has Nothing. He totally comes across as a buffoon, and the least prepared candidate on the stage, even though he had to know what questions were going to be targeted at him.
How he handled the in-state tuition question was shameless. It sounded like advice taken from the book, Rules for Radicals. When under attack accuse the attacker of something more outlandish and indefensible (even if not true), taking the spotlight off you. Accusing opponents of his policy of being heartless for not wanting children to have an education is just the sort of outlandish accusation that would make Saul Alinsky and Obama proud.
I want Newt to be the nominee just for the debates with BO. Would be great! I don’t support anyone that is weak on the illegals.
