God bless the young woman who gave her heart of love to this puppy.

This is exactly why when you have a litter of pups; you make sure there are several different surfaces for them to lay on. It prevents this. Lots of different textures such as towels, rugs; etc; not a completely smooth surface in the bed.

I agree. I think there are special people put on this earth to do just what she did and those who are put here to take care of special children. God bless them one and all.

I wish there were special people put on earth to deal with the creatures who are putting the puppies INTO the garbage bags and shoeboxes.

Sometimes they just need love and attention. I rescued a cat once who was just... neglected and I guess you could say, depressed. She was severely dehydrated, lethargic, a bag of bones. Vet was talking dialysis (for a cat??) I took her home and just gave her water and nutrients with an eye dropper, and kept her on my lap a lot, and petted her and stroked her and talked to her and fussed over her... and she survived, and recovered, and lived several more years.
