Deny Jesus Christ... Or Die..
That's pretty much the situation a Christian pastor is facing in Tehran.
In Iran the Christian pastor could be executed this week... unless he recants his faith in Jesus Christ. So far he's refused to recant his faith.
(He's in court facing charges of apostasy.)
"Yousef Nadarkhani, who leads a 400-person house church movement, refused in court on Sept. 25 and Sept. 26 to recant Christianity and was scheduled to get two more chances on Sept. 27 and Sept. 28, according to the British-based Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW), which monitors religious freedom."
The situation is very grim. If God does not intervene, he will be executed this week.
The two hikers are liberals with family outside Iran, the Pastor is Christian ... nuff said.

Hm, I dunno... There’s a *LOT* of blatently contra-constitutional stuff going on (BATFE & TSA for example) and then there’s the odd case where the feds are trying to toss out a law [in OK, I think] that prohibits Sharia Law (and foreign law) from being used in the State’s legal systems.

Note that they are saying that he must recant because his ancestors were Muslim.
That’s sharia law. If your father was a Muslim, then you are a Muslim, whether you’ve ever practiced it or not.
And if so, you are a Muslim if your grandfather or greatgrandfather was a Muslim, since it passes on down.
Which raises the significant point: that makes Obama a Muslim, at least three times over. Because his father was a Muslim. Because his stepfather was a Muslim. And because he was a practicing Muslim as a boy.
Unlike this pastor, there is no evidence that Obama ever left the Muslim faith. And although he is certainly prominent, oddly no one has ever issued a fatwah against him, as they certainly would have done if they had any reason to believe he had left the faith.
What say, Obama, are you concerned about this Christian pastor and the probability that he will be a martyr for the Christian faith? Any comments?

Yes, but even if Shariah law starts to be implemented in some communities, and they start being barbaric and enforcing their laws, Americans won’t stand for it. Not even the craziest left wing kook(maybe I’m exaggerating a bit here).
