Saudi police arrested a 35-year-old local girl just a month after she was released and court officials said it was her choice as she refused to return to her father. The girl, an assistant dentist, was first arrested because she left her father’s house and lived with her divorced mother, saying he had refused her marriage and that he had a big family from the second wife. The problem began when a man came to the girl’s house and asked to marry her but the father rejected him. When she protested and said she would go to her mother, the...

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Leaders of a DeKalb County mosque face legal trouble after mounting code enforcement violations landed them in front of a judge. Mosque leaders said they are being harassed. Neighbors said it’s not a story about religion, but about code enforcement and following the rules. A judge had already put the mosque and its leaders on probation, but that hasn't stopped them from holding services. Attendees arrive by the dozens from around the metro area every Friday. Sometimes there are several hundred people, but their mosque doesn't look like most. "They would park in my yard and...

With Iran allegedly striking out at Israeli citizens and Jewish targets around the world, Israeli and American security officials in the U.S. are on high alert. "We expect it and we are ready," one senior Israeli official told ABC News. Israeli officials told ABC News that the level of personal security on high-ranking Embassy officials as well as other, lower profile officials in the U.S. is at its highest in at least five years, a response to what they called "a coordinated series of attacks." When Israeli officials travel to and from events, ABC News has observed a notable increase...

Last week Hamza Kashgari, a Saudi writer was arrested for Tweeting his opinion that he and the Islamic prophet Mohammad were essentially equals; he faces execution. For Christians that have endured Piss Christ, and The Holy Virgin Mary, such comments seem fairly innocuous, but Ismah, the doctrine of Muhammad's infallibility says otherwise. Still, execution remains a stretch. Kashgari fled for his life to Malasia, which does not execute blasphemers, but he was extradited to Saudi Arabia in violation of his right to a hearing. Worse, Interpol, a US sponsored agency, facilitated this arrest and violation of his human rights. As...

An undated photo of Hamza Kashgari. A columnist for the Jeddah-based Al Bilad newspaper, Hamza Kashgari, was detained Thursday by Malaysian police after fleeing to the country from Saudi Arabia to escape execution after he insulted the Prophet Muhammad: Mr. Kashgari’s tweets incited outrage in the conservative Islamic country, where many regarded them as blasphemous, and reportedly prompted the king to call for his arrest. Blasphemy is a crime punishable by death in Saudi Arabia. More than 13,000 people have joined a Facebook page titled “The Saudi People Demand the Execution of Hamza Kashgari.” According to The Daily Beast, a...

Here is a sterling example of how the mainstream media lies to the American people and misleads them about the nature and breadth of jihad activity in this country as well as elsewhere. "Motive of shooter who targeted military sites is unclear," by Josh White for the Washington Post, January 26: Yonathan Melaku was sneaking through Fort Myer and Arlington National Cemetery, his backpack filled with plastic bags of ammonium nitrate, a notebook containing jihadist messages, and a can of black spray paint. The 23-year-old former Marine was heading to the graves of the nation’s most recent heroes, aiming to...

A patriotic organization is launching a billboard campaign intended to undermine the efforts to advertise and promote Shariah, the Islamic law that calls for beheadings, executions and amputations, across America. The group, Stop Islamization of Nations, is buying ad space for a billboard calling on people to learn the dark side of Shariah law. The effort’s leader, Pamela Geller, says her group, has one real purpose – to counter the impact of the pro-Shariah billboard campaign of the Islamic Circle or North America, an alleged Muslim Brotherhood front organization. “ICNA is a Muslim Brotherhood group, according to a captured internal...

WILMINGTON, N.C. — As a Muslim woman waits in jail for word on a possible indictment in her alleged involvement in a murder-for-hire beheading plot, her friends and family are using social media to rally support for her cause. Shortly after the arrests in late January of Nevine Aly Elshiekh and alleged accomplice Shkumbin Sherifi, their family and friends organized the website “Our Ummah, One Body” to fight for their release. The two residents of Raleigh, N.C., are being held as suspects in an alleged behind-bars plot to kill a witness in a terrorism trial that landed Sherifi’s older brother...

Abu Qatada is known as a dangerously radical preacher. So what has he actually been saying? ABU QATADA has been called the "most significant extremist preacher in the UK", "al-Qaeda's spiritual leader in Europe" and "a truly dangerous individual". News of his upcoming release from jail this week - albeit on stringent bail conditions – has caused outrage, with even his defence team suggesting he poses a "grave risk" to national security. Why is Abu Qatada being freed and can he ever be deported? So what does this radical Muslim cleric actually preach? Here are some of the things he...

This is how it happens, folks. Little by little. Law by law. The proponents of sharia get themselves elected to positions of power – and then, before too long, they start trying to subject the rest of us to it, bit by bit:

Paul Marshall speaks at the Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 3, 2012 Washington D.C., Feb 4, 2012 / 07:05 am (CNA).- Paul Marshall, a religious liberty expert, says that attempts to “export” Islamic anti-blasphemy laws to the West could pose a threat to freedom of speech in the U.S.Marshall, senior fellow at the Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom, said that many governments deliberately manipulate alleged instances of blasphemy by provoking popular outrage, enabling them to advance “particular policy goals.”Marshall made his remarks Feb. 3 at Hillsdale College’s Allan...

The U.S. Military Academy pressured a retired U.S. lieutenant general to withdraw from speaking at a West Point prayer breakfast after Muslims and atheists complained, Fox News & Commentary has learned. Retired Lt. Gen. William Boykin was scheduled to deliver a speech at West Point on Feb. 8. But late Monday, the military academy released a statement saying he had decided to withdraw from speaking and would be replaced with another speaker. However, a source close to the controversy told Fox News & Commentary that Boykin was pressured to withdraw. “It was very clear they wanted General Boykin to withdraw,”...

The Council on American-Islamic Relations announced Monday night that it had successfully prevented retired Lieutenant General William G. “Jerry” Boykin from speaking at an upcoming prayer breakfast at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. “We welcome Mr. Boykin’s withdrawal from this event and hope that the speaker who replaces him will offer cadets a spiritual message that promotes tolerance and mutual understanding,” said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad in a statement. Following are excerpts from a religious program presented by Egyptian cleric Sheik Abdallah Kamal, which aired on Safa TV on January 9, 2012: Abdallah Kamal: I mentioned yesterday that the Prophet Muhammad married Aisha when she was six years old, and had sexual intercourse with her when she was nine years old. People might raise an eyebrow and ask how such a thing could be. This hadith has been taken, by people with ulterior motives, and by people who hate the Prophet Muhammad – whether Christians, Orientalists, or even some Muslims… They, however, made a great mistake, and in their...

A Dutch Muslim politician has called for a ban on dogs in The Hague, the third-largest city in the Netherlands. Islamic legal tradition holds that dogs are "unclean" animals, and some say the call to ban them in Holland and elsewhere represents an attempted encroachment of Islamic Sharia law in Europe. This latest canine controversy -- which the Dutch public has greeted with a mix of amusement and outrage -- follows dozens of other Muslim-vs-dog-related incidents in Europe. Critics say it reflects the growing assertiveness of Muslims in Europe as they attempt to impose Islamic legal and religious norms on...

KINGSTON, Ontario – A jury on Sunday found an Afghan father, his wife and their son guilty of killing three teenage sisters and a co-wife in what the judge described as "cold-blooded, shameful murders" resulting from a "twisted concept of honor." Following the lobbying efforts of the Organization of Islamic Co-operation (OIC), resolution 16/18 was agreed by the United Nations. The resolution reads as follows: “Combating intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization of, and discrimination, incitement to violence and violence against, persons based on religion or belief” Is the OIC’s motivation with regard to defamation of religion motivated by a sincere belief in protecting religious freedom or is it a means to protect religious dogma? The plight of minority religious opinion in many OIC member states may perhaps suggest an answer to this question. We have therefore looked at two websites that...

JANUARY 20 Newt Was Right The presidency is incompatible with adherence to sharia. By Andrew C. McCarthy Newt Gingrich’s ardent admiration for Franklin Delano Roosevelt owes more to the latter’s unflinching wartime leadership than his welfare-state policy prescriptions. This week, though, the former Speaker is also undoubtedly in accord with FDR’s aphorism, “I ask you to judge me by the enemies I have made.” To his great credit, Newt has made an enemy of CAIR. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, that is. The nation’s best known cheerleader for radical Islam — or, as Fox News compliantly puts it, “the largest...

One of the mistakes that the West makes is that it doesn’t listen to what the Islamists are saying. If only we listened, we could hear their strategy. On November 20, Sheikh Yousef al-Qaradawi, the top Muslim Brotherhood theologian and arguably the most influential Sunni cleric in the world, called on Muslims to embrace “gradualism.” The doctrine of gradualism is successful because we fail to appreciate the ability of the Islamists to be skillful political strategists. Gradualism is an intelligent form of jihad based on pragmatism, patience, long-term planning and self-evaluation. The Islamists evaluate their performance and recalibrate...

...the US military has been prohibited from helping the local Christians by the administrations of both Bush and Obama. Two years ago, the distribution of Bibles was banned in Iraq, and even the sale to the military of assault weapons with Bible verses on them was stopped. It seems that one of the main strategic goals for the US military presence in the Middle East is the eradication of traditional...

Addressing pilgrims on November 5, 2011, just over two weeks after President Obama announced U.S. troops would withdrawal from Iraq, Iran's Supreme Leader cited American "failures" in Iraq and Afghanistan as proof that, "Today, the West, the United States and Zionism are weaker than ever before." Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad went further, declaring the American retreat was not enough. "So long as the American empire based in the White House has not been overthrown, we have work to do," he thundered. In the weeks since, the Islamic Republic has ratcheted up both its rhetoric and its defiance. Whereas Iranian authorities...

San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Yesterday, the State Department announced the creation of a Bureau of Counterterrorism [see, http://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2012/01/180136.htm]. This bureau will supposedly help, in the words of Secty of State Clinton, "...to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation on counterterrorism. We have a broad and ambitious agenda, and to carry out this work, I am upgrading our office devoted to counterterrorism to a full-fledged bureau within the State Department..." According to State's presser the new policy will seek to undermine the capacity of those practicing "violent extremism," "their ability to recruit." But how does one target an amorphous body...

The stage is set. Christians in Islamic Africa and the Islamic-dominated middle east are on the chopping block and barely a peep is heard from the left-leaning media. So much for the Arab Spring rebels seeking freedom. They were seeking freedom all right, freedom to kill, pillage and ethnically cleanse without reprisals. Little attention is given in the media to the new crises being suffered by Christians in Islamic nations. With the de facto backing that the United States government has provided the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and other places, they are doing exactly what their manifestos have predicted which...

an Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - In U.S. educational circles, the prevention of "bullying" has become somewhat of a cause célèbre recently, despite its historical omnipresence in scholastic institutions. The trajectory of this trend, which is not what it appears on its face, is fraught with the potential of having a substantial corrosive effect on the First Amendment. First, what is bullying? Of course all of us understand what has been the standard definition of a bully, one who by their aggressive action, seeks to impose their will upon others. The Miriam Webster dictionary notes that bullying consists of "blustering"...

Federal agents over the weekend arrested a Pinellas Park man described as having extremist jihadist beliefs who wanted to blow up a target in Tampa and create "terror" in victims' hearts. "I want to do something terrifying," he said, according to a federal complaint, "like one day, one night, something's going to happen. Then six hours later, something else." Sami Osmakac, 25, was taken into custody after an FBI sting operation in which he tried to buy explosives, at least 10 grenades, Uzis and an AK-47, authorities said. Osmakac's intended target shifted over the course of the investigation, which spanned...

This recalls how Canadian honor killing victim Aqsa Parvez was buried in an unmarked grave. The victims of this abominable crime are dishonored even in death. Turkey: Killed for requesting a Kurdish song A weekend in December 2011 ended tragically when Gazi Akbayir, a man originally from Tunceli, was brutally murdered after having requested that musicians in a bar sing a folksong in Zaza Kurdish, his native language. He argued for his right to listen to a song in his mother tongue and was then assaulted with knives. Akbayir is said to have left the bar bleeding,...

Why should my taxpayer dollars be used to advance sharia finance? Goldman Sachs, one of the largest recipients of Obama's redistribution of taxpayer money, is going Islamic. Many of Obama’s cabinet and appointed czars are directly connected to Goldman Sachs. The Muslim Brotherhood is dictating Obama's foreign policy, and now its financial policy as well. Sharia finance prohibits investments in whole American sectors -- tobacco, pork, alcohol and some forms of entertainment. Further, 2.5% must go to zakat (Islamic charity aka jihad). I do not want my money going to advance jihad and starve American business. Where is the separation...

Over the past decade, attacks and plots by homegrown US terrorists have increased, the work of extremists from across the political spectrum, says an analysis by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) based at the University of Maryland. Key finding from the analysis are published in the Global Terrorism Database and include: * Between 2000 and 2010 there were 213 terrorist attacks in the United States. Seventeen of these, including the four 9/11 attacks, were fatal. * Since Sept. 11, 2001, 32 people have been killed in terrorist attacks in the United States....

The Obama administration says a meeting in Washington next week seeks to make progress in combating religious intolerance, but critics say the U.S. is pandering to an ideological agenda aimed at restricting speech critical of Islam. According to the State Department the aim is to find ways to combat religious hate without compromising freedom of expression. Detractors are skeptical that this can be done, and they suspect that free speech will end up the loser. Among those criticizing the event are GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, the Traditional Values Coalition, and scholars at the Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom....

The totalitarian nature of Sharia law can only be grasped when one appreciates how thoroughly it permeates and dictates everything in a believer's life—including when and to whom a Muslim may smile. Popular Islamic TV preacher Sheikh Muhammad Hassan appears in this video clip asserting that, according to Sharia, it is "not at all permissible" for Muslims to smile at non-Muslims, "except in cases of da'wa." Often translated as "missionary work," the word da'wa means to "call" or "summon" non-Muslims to Islam. Because it shares the same goals of jihad—empowering and spreading Islam—da'wa is often seen as jihad's nonviolent counterpart....

Much has changed in Afghanistan since the U.S. invasion 10 years ago. But in many ways, women are no better off than they were when the Taliban ruled. CBS News correspondent Mandy Clark reports there is a young woman there who has been in prison for two years for hard-to-believe crime under Afghan law. Gulnaz was 19 years old when she was tied up and raped by her cousin's husband. The attack left her traumatized and pregnant. But when she reported it to the police, instead of being protected, she was thrown in jail. "I do feel like I am...

Disturbing trends in ostensibly democratic nations are currently threatening our fundamental liberties of free speech. Western nations, intimidated by threats of violence from Islamic radicals, are re-evaluating the rights of citizens to criticize the beliefs of others with whom they disagree. Consider the case in Australia, where it took hundreds of thousands of dollars and several years of litigation before charges were dropped against two pastors who ran a seminar on the virtues of Islam vis-a-vis Christianity. Lower courts had convicted them of "hate speech." The two pastors were exonerated, but are now impoverished. The source of this growing movement...

Back on March 1, 2010, almost 2 years ago I wrote, “What is happening here is no different than what happened in Europe. Well, maybe a bit different, I think, because in Europe Sharia was creeping into the society and here it is steamrolling.” No matter how many examples I give, no matter how much occurs day after day in this country, there are still those that say “Creeping Sharia, is not happening here”. Well, I guess that’s true, it’s not ‘creeping’. According to one dictionary the word ‘creep’ is defined as, to approach slowly, imperceptibly, or stealthily When it...

Indeed, Muslims claimed that the redistribution of wealth is commanded by Allah.

The Justice Department is launching an inquiry into the decision of a Los Angeles suburb to deny a local mosque’s planned expansion. Federal officials are looking into whether or not Lomita, California city council members violated the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act when they rejected the construction plans almost two years ago, according to the Daily Breeze, a local newspaper. City Attorney Christ Hogin told the newspaper that the investigation started in July. The city council denied that religion played a role in their decision, which they said was influenced by concerns over traffic and parking.
