After the monumental Yankees choke in the 2004 ALCS T shirts came out: Choke (tm): Official Soft Drink of the New York Yankees. Now maybe Choke (tm) has a deal with the Sox? :)

You’ve got Victor Martinez now, right? Loved him when he was with Red Sox. I had a co-worker at the post office where I work—he has since retired—but he’s a Bronx-born Yankees fan

I see very few sports fans are getting it--the `we` and `they` thing sure as heck doesn`t just apply to Red Sox fans. The way countless people invest their egos in `their` home team even after they`ve grown up [or at least aged] is pretty hikarious, especially when they call one team `theirs` when that team is made up of players brought in from away from the home town. The obnoxious bragging about `my` team is that much sillier when `you` are a mere watcher of millionaires whose athletic achievments are no more `yours` than the whole team is somehow indicative of any accomplishments of `your` city.
You can be sure a lot of XXL football jerseys are being put on across the country, not just in Massachusetts.

He it hasn’t been so bad for us Bills fans here in Buffalo either. We are 3-0 and coming off of an upset win of that other Boston team, what’s there name.... oh yea, the Patsies. They have that pretty boy QB but ours is way smarter. :-)

My oldest son and grandson live in St. Pete and we usually go to several Rays games a year. Seems like everytime I go Wakefield is pitching and the Sox are down 5 going into the 5th inning. Hopefully the Sox give Wakefield his Gold watch and a 1 way ticket to Florida so us Sox fans don't have to watch him pitch BP anymore.
