CENTERVILLE Ladybug, a 4-year-old, black-and-brown Yorkshire terrier, may have learned a few new tricks over the past several weeks.
The 3½-pound pup has been held ransom by prostitutes since Aug. 15, when the two women, who were visiting the son of the dog's owner at the family's Centerville home, allegedly took Ladybug in lieu of payment, according to the police and the victim.
The loss of Ladybug was devastating, said the dog's 84-year-old owner.
She recently had a stroke and Ladybug is an important part of her life, she said.
"She's like a service dog," the woman said, crying repeatedly over her pooch's predicament.

Is it wrong of me to think they should be beaten to death? Mercifully of course, and with great violence.
Lots of heartlessness in that story. The whores plus the son whom police think handed the dog over voluntarily. In any case I feel bad for the woman. My gosh...that dog is probably her only companion that shows affection.
I don't blame the hookers. I blame the son of the 84 year old.
Him, yes... Not a bad outcome, if you beat him hard enough.
The hookers? Meh... They are already living in hell before they are dead. Pray that they are redeemed.

Right up until it gets posted on the interwebs, then you got folks in Bugtussle, Texas opining and talking about it (at dial-up speeds). And them folks can talk.

Despite the myth of the hooker with the heart of gold, somebody who would sell their body for money, break the law and spread disease normally is not a nice person. The streets tend to burn away the nice in runaways. Those who were not starving kids and went into it for drugs or just greed were not moral from day one.
True. It makes me want to cry for all involved. Even the cops that have to sort that stuff out. You know they are shaking their heads and losing faith in humanity.
But evil happens. Point and pray. What else can you do besides make a bad joke about it?

So sad. You’re right...I bet the police really are losing faith. How could you face the sewage day in and day out and not be affected.
Through God's grace. And prayers from us can't hurt.

Technically, it’s “wrong”, yeah.
Do I agree?
Yeah.
The hookers know the old lady grieving.
If they had *any* heart or soul left in their bodies, they’d just give it back.
Apparently, they do ~not~.
My grandmother made it to her late 90s before her death. Her dog (about 14 years old now) is sitting behind me as I type.
The sheer thought of someone doing that reinforces my belief that evil is real. What I really think should be done about it isn’t fit for print on this website.
I bet I can finish your “unfit-to-print” sentence....;D
It involves brick walls, duct tape and sledgehammers ;)
Really?
Huh.
I tend towards sharp objects, salt and fire.
[it’s more up close, personal....and...um...”patient”]
To each their own, I reckon.
:)
Hookers are at least one step above promiscuous women that don’t charge. Many steps above adulterous wives.
Hooker who didnt collect in advance? They must be new to the business.
“I just most of the time cry” she said.”
This is so sad. At 84 and having medical conditions, she shouldn’t have to go through stuff like this. Her dog obviously comforted her and I hope they find it so that the last days of this woman’s life are happy. Just a thought.
You are a wonderful person to take care of your grandmother’s dog. I am sure she was able to leave this planet more peacefully knowing that her doggie wouldn’t end up being put down or given to bad people. I’ve seen so many dogs/cats on Craigslist and on Petfinders that are homeless due to an elderly owner dying. Very sad. Good for you, Norm Lenhart!
Mighty expensive whores.....sounds more like it's $20.00 apiece for services rendered and $2,460 for ransom
