Great Example Of A Media Lie Being Easily Proven False (Homosexual Soldier "Booing")
Politico and You Tube ^ | 10-3-11

Much has been made of the booing during a question from a homosexual soldier at the Republican debate.

Mitt Romney in an interview with the Union Leader of Manchester, N.H., Monday, broadcast on C-SPAN:

"I don’t recall with this soldier whether people were booing his question or just booing him.”

The paper goes on to say (as if it was fact):

Informed that the soldier was booed when he identified himself as gay, Romney said he wasn’t sure.

You be the judge of when the booing took place:

At :16 the soldier says "I am a gay soldier"
No booing
:20 "I did not want to lose my job
NO Booing
:24 My question is do you intend to circumvent....
No Booing
:28 the progress that has been made for gay and lesbian soldiers in military
:29 Booing by 2or 3 people begins.

I was there, and the time line is correct. It was the soldier’s final statement that got the boos, and it was out of the back right corner of the room from a small contingent of the 5,000 people in the room.

“the soldier was booed when he identified himself as gay”

So easily proven to be false its amazing they can even continue with the spin. If they can lie about this...imagine what they can do with complex theories, economics, global warming, McCarthy, Bush, Palin..etc etc etc

Call me insensitive but I don’t see anything wrong with booing a political position. No matter who holds it.

The question is “why did Obama just sit there while his pastor was spewing hate?” The Republicans should take every one of these asinine attacks and not defend themselves, but use the opportunity to hit the Democrats. I hate playing defense.

Repeat the lie enough times, and it becomes the truth in the mind of the Sheep.

Obama made this LIE the centerpiece of his speech to the Civil Rights Coalition.

He sounded like Hitler getting the Germans all riled up with his LIES.

I cannot recall a Republican President getting his audience into a hateful frenzy like Obama does. Very scary that there are that many dupes in this country.

That gay soldier was doing a political gotacha and he knew it. First off, his set up was a LIE when he used the phrase where he said I had to lie about myself. That is a very loaded phrase and was meant to garner sympathy. As a matter of fact under DADT no gay soldier had to lie because no one was allowed to a ASK. Afteralll that was the point of DADT. DONT ASK.

That soldier along with the airman who outed himself in front of the WORLD to his father were both on their pity pots wanting, no needing, the world to feel sorry for them and in the process flex their new found gay notoriety at the expense of their employer and superiors.

They don’t want to be regular soldiers, part of a team, they want GAY RIGHTS in the military and they have proven that with these two incidents. How soon do you think it will take for a gay soldier to bring an EO complaint alleging that they were passed over for promotion because their NCO or Officer was prejudiced against gays. I give it a New York minute.

"...the progress that has been made for gay and lesbian soldiers in military...

I wasn't there. But if I had been I probably would have booed at that point also.
How is it "progress" to wish people to become ensnared in the sin of homosexuality? We recognize that we are all sinners (saved only by Grace), but we aren't to continue in sin, and we should cheer for everyone and anyone to break loose from their shackles of sin ('for the wages of sin is death...') and to be set free by the Gift of God which is eternal life through Christ Jesus.

That was definitely a 'boo' moment - wanting to encourage the destruction of other people and calling it "progress"...

President Obama slams GOP candidates for not defending American soldier who was booed.

0bama knows it's a lie, but he won't let that stop him from trying to make some political points

The video of the event clearly shows that only a couple of people whooped and hollered and that was AFTER the guy asked his question.

Obama imagines that people will vote against Republicans for any perceived ANTI HOMOSEXUAL TENDENCIES.

This is barely 5 years after the people voted against Republicans for letting too many gays get in the ranks ~ the guy in Florida, the Idaho Senator, the problem with Ken Mehlman, and a few staffers in the House.

The Public simply does not tolerate Republican tolerance of homosexuals or homosexuality.

They rather expect it of Democrats.

Obama is definitely confused about how the public deals with Republicans and homosexuality at the same time.

I think those two Democrats whooping it up actually gained us an additional 5% of the vote above what we would have gotten. They should be invited back!

You are dead on with your comments. But there is a critical component to the soldiers statement missed by everyone. Every man or woman who has ever served should have caught it. This man identified himself as a “gay” soldier. NOT an American soldier, NOT a soldier who is gay, no first and foremost he identifies a a homosexual. Homosexual is not a benign factor in who this man is, it is a lifestyle a sexual proclivity. Race is a benign factor being black, Hispanic, white or Asian do not determine intelligence, sense of duty or activities and it is not a choice we make. This has been the concern of those opposed to OPEN homosexuality in the military. The concerns is gays identify with there social and sexuality activity first. Their behavior is not benign no sexual act is benign behavior. Just like that self absorbed Navy Officer had to make a big deal of being openly gay and with a partner. He felt compelled to identified as a gay Naval Officer. Being a Naval Officer just was not good enough.

Christianne Amanpour from CNN totally got this wrong when interviewing Herman Cain. She said “when he began to speak,” the crowd began booing.

But then she is an utterly shameless shill for the Democrat National Committee. She’s spent the last 3 years of her life sucking up to Obama..

"The video of the event clearly shows that only a couple of people whooped and hollered"

How many thousands of people booed President George Bush at Obama's inauguration......and what did newly-minted President Obama say about it?

....He said nothing. He relished the moment.

Yes, you are correct and that is what I meant when I said that they don’t want to be on the team. They have their own team. BTW, I happen to work on Ft. Huachuca where the GAY sailor is stationed however I’ve never met him.
