According to conspiracies all over the Internet, on September 26th or so an alignment with Elenin was going to
a) be an extinction event
b) a near-extinction event
c) a close encounter of some kind, or
d) some other kind of catastrophic event too horrible to contemplate.
Well, a week has passed. I'm still alive. So are billions of other puny Earthlings. So is the Earth, for that matter.
Meanwhile, Elenin continues to be a nothingburger. I'm sure some conspiracy folks will see that as 'proof' that the aliens aboard Elenin threw the switch and put it into super-duper-stealth mode. But maybe, just maybe, some of the folks addicted to Internet conspiracy nonsense might just re-think their addiction to such from this.
But I'm not terribly optimistic. The conspiracy addicts have shown a marked tendency to not allow failures of past theories to impact their view towards such. I doubt this will be any different.
Who is Elenin? Is she really skanky and spreads disease? I think I knew a girl like that once.

So I guess what happened is e) Elenin got Earth stuck in perpetual Groundhog Day mode. The horror, Obama is president for eternity!!! AAAARRRGGGGHHH!
Sept. 27 was supposed to be doomsday. Is someone or some group(s) just adding to the climate of fear we are now experiencing for their own nefarious purposes?

I remember thinking that the calendar and it's interpretation was either too much for my pea brain to comprehend or junk. I'm still pondering that, but knew I couldn't stick that book out til the end (charts and numbers are not my thing) so didn't buy it.
All these Coast to Coast stories are like campfire stories when you are a kid. You half believe them and it is scary and entertaining.
Personally, I believe the Bible re:end times. What is happening to Israel is very scary—in reality, not imagination. I only pray that our country throws that fraud out of the WH. He is no friend to Israel, of this, I am convinced.
Better yet, where are the conspiracy theorists who warned us that we were all going to be sorry?
I’m sure they have moved on to the next conspiracy theory with hardly a nanosecond of introspection about the failure of this one.
