And his Aunt Pure-el had a little OCD and was always washing her hands....

His cousin, Bag-el opened up a nice successful breakfast joint across town but nobody dares mention his sister, Broth-el, a successful entrepreneur in her own right.

As a big Patrick O’Brian fan, I have to say he did a great job portaying Jack Aubrey in “Master and Commander”.

He was excellent in that part!

Thank you. What does the S have to do with Jor El, though? Is it the name of the place they lived? Like Stargruppen?

I liked Crowe's version of Robin Hood, too! It was a good re-telling of the story.

It must have taken a lot of dry cleaning to get the “Marlon Brando smell” out.

Basically, in the Keyptonian language, the letter that represents the House of Jor-el looks like an 8. So the ‘S’ on Superman’s costume is a bridge between his heritage and his public identity.

Wow! Thank you again. I am most impressed.

Back when I read Action and other comics, America was the best. And Superman just kind of helped clean up in really bad situations.

Kind of like we have now with Emperor Kunta Obama.
