Which one is best, La Guargia, JFK or Newark ?
It appears La Gauardia is the more efficient, but I have no idea how it all plays against the unwashed on wall street, etc.
This is a one day affair, get in in the AM and fly out in the PM

traffic to and fro JFK can be a horror...its also a longer trip...there is a tram but it can take a while to get to...
LGA is easier to get to but then again the delays for planes in/out are usually longer...
Newark most conveniently located if Manhattan is your destination. Shuttles run from the port authority within walking distance of Times Sq.
For national flights use LaGuardia.Kennedy is only for International flights.At least it was a one time.
Shuttles and trams work for me ... two adults, no baggage, in and out (after a few hours, I'll assume) and back home the same day.
JFK...take air train $5 bucks to Jamaica station LIRR to Penn station.
Ride the Amtrak Acela to National...

Go instead to the consulate in Wash DC. Much easier trip. Fly into Reagan National, then take the metro or a taxi for a short ride to the Philippine Embassy (or whereever the consulate is located). Basically a hassle-free journey — unlike ANY venture into New York — with probably 1/3 or less of the time that will be consumed by your ground transportation.
I say, use LGA, especially if you plan on using cabs. (I mostly use EWR as there are $25 dollars less in bridge tolls for me.) When taking a cab from Manhattan to EWR you have to pay double because your destination is outside the City. I don't know about the cabs from EWR to Manhattan. To and from LGA to Manhattan, you just pay what it says on the meter, and they all take credit cards.

I live in Manhattan and I fly for a living. To that destination, assuming you are taking cabs, probably either LaGuardia or Newark. EWR is closer as the crow flies, but the Holland Tunnel is dicey (15-30 min. delays typical during rush). LGA is further, but sometimes if you’re lucky you can get in and out without significant traffic during rush hour. JFK is a nightmare from Manhattan at rush hour.

I’d use Newark.
LGA has express busses and shuttles that go right from the airport to Grand Central Station- very easy and i’ve taken them before...you can get the info right on the LGA site...if departure/arrival delays are not a concern definitely go with LGA- and i’ve flown from both a zillion times..
JFK is best for direct, long distance flights...
I’d nix JFK. LaG is quicker in by cab, but if you’re leaving from it take offs can be exciting. The rail from Newark is a no transfer ride while the so called train to the plane from JFK requires a multi stop ride on the F Train or a ride on the LIRR to Penn Station. For Manhattan I’d take Newark.
I’m in PA, DC not my region (I tried) .. gutt’a do NYC.
