LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville couple is facing multiple charges after police said they fled a store without their children when they were confronted by security personnel about shoplifting.
According to arrest records, 19-year-old Kelsey Grobmeier and 20-year-old Michael S. Kaufman were at a Walmart on Cedar Springs Boulevard at 7 p.m. Wednesday with two small children.
Grobmeier and Kaufman were caught by loss prevention agents attempting to steal items from the store, police said.
Police said Kaufman had stolen a cellphone and attempted to steal a tablet computer, destroying the display to which the tablet was attached.
When confronted, Kaufman and Grobmeier fled the store, leaving the children behind, police said.
According to arrest records, Grobmeier returned to the store about an hour later to retrieve the children.
Police said Grobmeier was caught stealing from the store earlier and was told not to return to the property.
Kaufman and Grobmeier are each charged with theft, criminal trespassing, endangering the welfare of a minor and tampering with physical evidence.
A couple of brain surgeons we’ve got here.
Awhile back the same thing happened at the Walmart near me. A Lady left her baby behind.
"God-------, you never leave a man behind!"
And according to his page, just a few weeks ago he was selling an unused desktop for $250.
OK, Laz, whats the verdict?
Back in the sixties, I was eating Sunday lunch in the College Cafateria once and one of the absentminded Economics profs got up and took his tray back then walked out to his car and drove away, leaving his wife sitting at the table, back to the window, still eating her dessert. She was a nice Lady, but he was as ditsy as they come.
For some reason she looks like Octomom to my old eyes.
I got it! I got it!!!
They ran out of the store, leaving one of the kids in dirty diapers, yelling “Keep the change!”
(Get it? “Keep the change!” .....dirty diaper? Left the kids for payment? Keep the change?)
That guy looks diseased.
looks more like “resisting arrest”
,,,,,,, let me guess ,,,,,, Amish ,,,, right ???
Wonder what the source of the desktop is?
Judging by his appearance the guy has either recently been in a fight or is a meth head.
