3.29 to 3.54 downtown and 3.39 to 3.55 at station on I-65.

I did a Gas Buddy check and the same price jump is all over Indiana from Indianapolis northward and across Ohio on I-70. and there was one story online from South-west michigan for 30 cent increase. Too big of an area for a single refinery shutdown.

everything goes up except wages UNLESS you're a unionist or a govt employee....

we're getting like less than .1% on our bank accounts or so it seems...yet gas can shoot up and food can shoot up and insurance premiums can shoot up and our lovely CEO class can take home million dollar bonuses....

Everything triples in cost, yet most wages stagnant for years now, hours cuts..benefits cut..if one still holds a job.. It just gets uglier.

I should have narrowed it down, I live east of the Sierra near the Nevada border where it hasn’t gone any lower than $3.90 for a long time.

If you follow the spot contract prices each day, you can see it has gone up over 20¢ in the last week.

Retail prices seem to follow spot prices up within days, but take a few weeks to follow them down.

See Iran, N. Korea. It’ll be even more fun, after a commie national sales tax is passed.

Here in Central Illinois, gas prices went up 20 cents. Went from 3.29 to 3.49. I always look on www.gasbuddy.com. Tells you all the gas prices of each individual gas station in all the states. It also warns you when gas is going up.

It took months for gas prices to match the drop in oil prices, however the slightest little blip in the other direction and the increase is instantaneous.

Thanks for posting this, and the ping. I wasn’t out, so I didn’t see gas prices here in Maryland today.
