Olive Garden Responce
email from Presiden of Olive Garden | 10/13/2011 | self

Posted on 10/13/2011 6:59:26 PM PDT by satan69

Dear Guest:

We are very sorry for any misunderstanding about this issue. We do not have a policy at Olive Garden concerning bringing the American flag into our restaurants. Some members of our team were misinformed about company policy by our corporate office. As a company we take responsibility for that and we regret it. We take pride in how we communicate to our restaurants and we are correcting this so it doesn’t happen again. Like all Americans we have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for the American flag and everything it symbolizes. In fact, we periodically provide American flag collar pins to our employees to wear while serving guests. We welcome anyone who wishes to bring the flag into our restaurants.

Sincerely,

John Caron President, Olive Garden

Being Very conservative they didn’t care for me, The meaner they got the nicer I got... Drove them NUTS! :-} Be nice to stupid liberals, It drives them nuts!

They probably saw your being nice as a sign of weakness.

Libs get everything wrong, and I do mean everything.

I boycott them for a more selfish reason. Their food stinks and is bland and flavorless and as far from an Italian meal as you can get. Plus the couple times I have went there because others wanted to the service was bad. They are the Mcdonalds of the chain sit-down restaurant world in that they hire the lowest common denominator folks and serve fake lousy food.

I understand people going there for the unlimited salad and breadsticks as that is the one thing tolerable there for the price (although the breadsticks are just a stick of goo).

“In fact, we periodically provide American flag collar pins to our employees to wear while serving guests”

Yeah, right.

Post any crap franchise food, crap tv show or crap movie and watch a slobbering horde of “TV” freepers reaffirm their commitment to pour money into the MSM and their corporate sponsors.

Olive Garden? NO thanks.

“...while serving guests.”

If I am a “guest,” that would mean to me I don’t pay.

If I am a “customer,” that would mean to me I do pay.

I wish my supermarket would call me a “guest.”

That’s why I say giving the president the authority to issue waivers breaches separation of powers.

No one gave him that power. There is nothing in the Pelosi-Reidcare bill that authorizes the issuance of waivers. In typical fascist form, this Administration simply bestowed that power upon itself by fiat.

Do you know if Olive Garden gives to any PC politicians or organizations?

No idea. But (without facts to back this up) I make the assumption that most of the national corporations in the US are paying tribute of some kind to the left, be it campaign contributions to Dem pols, or protection/extortion money to a leftist/PC organization.

Sadly, it is almost a necessary thing to do business in this country.
