Good grief! I thought this was a reference to blotter acid, something I haven’t thought about since the summer of 1970, praise God.
Last time I saw blotter was years ago. Some fool tried to sell me a sheet on 42nd and 8th in NYC. It was covered in small images of Bart Simpson..... I declined. There was a cop standing not 50ft from us. The cop seemed to have no interest in the people selling crack and other items from doorways.
There was a great little pizza joint at that corner....mmmmm.
I was there for the cheese pizza.

If played, I’d imagine it would sound something like dumping a whole box of knives and forks in a bathtub. But then some modern classical music sounds like that too.

For years I worked professionally as a musician without reading. One day, I had a session where they didn’t let me hear the music first, but just handed me the charts. To my eyes, it looked JUST like that!
I started teaching myself to read that very day.
