Romney lost in spite of the loaded audience and the always sympathetic CNN. Romney losing is a win for Conservatism.

For the first 115 minutes, I thought Anderson Cooper won by starting a food fight with every question.

Then Newt called him on that very point at the very end, so I’ll give it to Newt by a nose at the final buzzer.

We have GOT to attack Obama and not each other in these things, and let us choose who we think can attack Obama the best. And memo to Rick Perry: Romney is not your problem. Attack the left and shore up your immigration position. That’s your only chance.

Newt has won every debate.

Newt/Herman!

or Herman/Newt (maybe even better)

I am half way through the debate that I recorded.

The crowd is solidly behind Romney. He walked all over Perry and was a condescending prick to the rest of the candidates.

He is the media darling, and I refuse to say that he won.

Newt sure is a strong candidate. I’m not sure he can be trusted to preside well but he sure is impressive!

I thought Perry sang great, but Paula didn't seem to think so. Cain was good too, but Simon slammed him and....

Actually, I might have been watching the wrong channel

Cain won.

Newt is not really a contender.

Cain-Gingritch 2012!

I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t really watch the debates much anymore. I prefer to do my own research with the candidates own campaign websites as a point of reference.

I think Mitt bombed tonight. Newt was great as usual. No winners
imo. Also these debate forums suck.

Bachmann was easily the most impressive on immigration. Rick Perry was an embarrassment. Romney and Gingrich were the best debaters.

Cain doesn’t come across to me as all that substantive.

Romney was hurt the most by this debate. It will be interesting to see if his support in the polls softens.
