Lohan Posts Bail After Judge Says She Violated Her Probation

Lindsay Lohan was released on $100,000 bail Wednesday after a judge determined that the 25-year-old actress violated the terms of her probation.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sauter says Lohan violated her probation when she was booted from the downtown women’s shelter where she had been ordered to complete most of her community service.

The Los Angeles Times reports she wasn’t showing up, but TMZ says Lohan wasn’t “fulfilled” at the center and will be reassigned to the county morgue.

Lohan had been ordered to do the work after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor count of theft involving a necklace from a jewelry store in Venice.

She is on probation for both the theft and a 2007 drunk driving case.

Lohan has been doing community service daily for the American Red Cross, but Sauter says that won’t count toward her probation, which was revoked.

She is due back in court Nov. 2.

It may sound cruel, but I think that actually going to jail might just save her life.

Just my opinion.

Good Lord! Why don’t they just put her in the slammer for a few weeks and put an end to this cr*p! Doesn’t this judge
have anything more important to do?

I agree.

She’ll be found face down in a ditch in the near future if she doesn’t knock it off.

This is the perfect example of the dual justice system we have in America. One justice system is for celebrities, politicians, athletes and the wealthy. The other justice system is for the rest of us.

Which one do you think Lohan has been accountable to?

And, where do you think anyone else would be for the same “crimes”?

So? Does the planet, society or anyone but herself/enablers lose anything when she spins out for the final time?

I get in religious debates with my mother regarding simply letting it happen to people like this. IMO, Lohan, like many regular non tabloid people is handed break after break with all manner of people/groups/law trying to do something she herself refuses to do...

Straighten her arse out.

So let her crash, burn and serve as the bad example she is. Take away all the ‘care’ and I’ll bet 1 of 2 things occurs. She crashes hard or she realizes she is a regular shmuck and has a come to Jesus/Reality moment.

Either way is fine by me. Her choice, no one elses.

Worked for Robert Downey, Jr. after several tries.

Drugs and alcohol are hard to beat, even harder when you don’t believe you have a problem with them.

Boy, is she dumb! This woman has had so many chances to get her act together. She is wealthy in dollars and poor in judgement. I would normally have sympathy for someone makes a one-in-life mistake, but is contrite. However, she is a repeat idiot who isn’t going to learn until she gets real prison time. I hope she finally gets the message.

As low as she has fallen, it isn’t low enough for her to realize that the only way out of this mess is sobriety or death.

God bless her, she’s killing herself.
