Long Time Conservative Patriot Mike Moreland Passes
Long time conservative patriot, Boone County Magistrate and constitutional conservative Mike Moreland of Union Kentucky died today. Mike is survived by his wife a son and grandchildren.
Moreland, pictured here with Rand Paul and Lloyd Rogers, was known for his staunch defense of civil liberties long before the TEA party movement became popular. Moreland was a reliable republican supporter and campaign volunteer in addition to the service he rendered to his community in elected office. He is the only elected official on the Boone County website who listed his cell phone number as available "day or night".

Jeff, wasn’t Mike at a meeting in KY with you and we all heard Ron Paul speak?
I will miss Mike also. Dave and I thought about him frequently even though we lost touch over the years.

Yes, that is the exact meeting muggs. I was on my way to the March for Liberty and had stopped there and Mike took me to that property owners meeting where he spoke.

He was one of the best patriots in this state. Amen to every bit of that...and you can extend those borderes considerably!
I had no idea he was even ailing. God's blessings and comfort to all of his family and loved ones. They will be reunited in a glorious hereafter where the cares and ills of this life will no longer hinder us and be completely negated and banished by the everlasting love of our Savior.
