TOMAH, Wis. -- Allan Edward Thompson, 66, the younger brother of former Gov. Tommy Thompson, has died at his home in Tomah.
Thompson, died at 1:23 a.m. after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Thompson was in the middle of his state Senate campaign when he announced in September 2010 that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Seems like a lot of pancreatic cancer lately. I know that Jobs had a different kind of pancreatic cancer, but there have been others.
You still see the “Don’t blame me, I voted for Ed” bumper stickers around...but I DO blame those folks, they split the vote and elected Doyle over McCallum for governor.
Prayers for the family.
I knew Ed and he was a good man.
Yes he was. My wife works in Tomah and we’ve visited the Tee Pee (his supper club) a few times.
Doyle was the worst!
Everytime I drive over horrible roads, I remember how he raided the transportation fund, twice.
And his last “budget”! OMG.
RIP.
