A camera caught GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum sneaking glances at a football game on his tablet during fellow candidate Newt Gingrich's speech at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Forum on Oct. 22. It's difficult to tell what he was watching, but Penn State, Santorum's alma mater, was playing Northwestern in Evanston, Ill.

I think this is funny. How many times does someone want to hear Newty drone on during an election season? I am sure this isn't the first time Santorum had to hear this speech.
I don't blame Rick at all. There was one thing to be disappointed with here. The fact that he is a Penn State fan. They suck. Go Pitt.
So??
I don’t have any issues with this. I tune into speeches all the time while I’m doing other things.
I hate pro sports, therefore I refuse to vote for Santorum.

Seriously, though, this is not news. If it had been porn, or old facebook pictures of Weiner’s privates, now THAT would be news.
I think this is a strong positive for Rick.
He is in touch with millions of American males with this move. (How many times is he supposed to hear Newt’s message?)
Well your in luck. You can still vote Santorum in '12. It was the Penn State Northwestern game, not pro ball.
But seriously, though, this isn't news. That is why I posted it in chat. I just thought it was funny. I wish I had one of those tablets that got games wherever I was at the moment.
Haha! I’m so ignorant on sports I don’t even know the difference between pro and high school ball.
Which team scored the most runs, btw? ;-)
On Saturday, USC played Notre Dame. If I were in a similar situation, believe me, I would be periodically checking up on how my Trojans were doing.
I wouldn’t have pegged Rick for a football fan.
This is a net plus in my book.
